They seem to not survive being taken away from the mama if they are too young. I also wonder if it would be better to warm the milk up, since they can't regulate their own body temperature at that age. Usually the mother's milk is warm and that keeps them warm enough, plus it has all of the nutrients as well.

@@shellys7660 we’ve successfully raised a couple orphaned piglets in the past. And yes, the milk is warm when we feed them. It’s hard to take them from their mom but he was getting bullied off the teat by the other piglet. I think we just stepped in too late or he just wasn’t meant to survive 😢
