Seeing the interior of that 386 reminds me of the company 386 my dad used to drive years ago. Had a Qualcomm, just like that, used to play all the games on there, like Space Pinball, Spider Solitare, Minesweeper... Good times, good times.
You are a funny guy, keep your videos up I love them and hope to own my own truck when I'm older and make a living from it. Thanks for your videos, you make my wait not as bad :)
preach on. I worked for a company that delivered mainly to malls between midnight and 4AM. People living around the malls complained and it got so bad that the company disconnected the Jakes. That was before you saw all of the engine brake prohibited signs. Amazing how many people think those things are "mandatory safety equipment". Talked to one driver and asked him if his Jake broke down on top of a pass, he said he call road service and asked "why risk it going down w/o it?"
A good one ! I would not be able to sleep on hot nights ( or days ) without good cooling on me, that would be a huge problem for me if I were driving big rigs. :(
LOL...turns on lites, and "All that stuff on top" ....I remember, seat, if lucky was a ratchet to lift/lower...A stick, you placed in tank to see how much fuel you had ! A milk crate, (If lucky) with piece of plywood for a jumpseat !!!! LOL, things sure enough have changed in this industry.. 18 -spd." Quaddroplex, anyone???" Be careful out there...keep on truckin' !
who do you work for? if i work for swift of some big company like that, will the trucks have a gps and fridge, like your truck does? i don't think i could do it without a fridge. how many miles do you get a month?
What’s the exhaust regin button actually for and when do you use it? And what is that trailer rack lever for when you already have brakes? Sorry I’ve never driven a truck with this things in it thanks.
To make 56,000 a year with 4 weeks vacation? Probably at least 5 years. There are exceptions of course, but most drivers start out at 32,000-40,000 MAX. Sorry, I'd stay where you are. Being home every night making that kind of money can't be beat
Im interested in driving trailers, I have my Class B CDL, do you know if companies do on the job training or pay for you to get your Class A? or how much would it cost me to get my Class A?
This vehicle looks like it is right out of WW2..i won't be rushing to hand in my Scania for one of these any time soon - even if they were available over here. I'll be staying with what I know and trust. Absolute junk.
