In Arteries blood is pumped rapidly and it does not require single way movement so they do not have valves.

H.w:- arteries do not need valves becoz they have heart to pump the blood and insure that there's no backflow but viens do not have pumping system so they have valves to prevent backflow of blood

Arteries do not have valve because the blood is flowing in them is flowing with the pressure created by heart but whereas in vein it do not flow without any pressure so as to prevent the backflow of blood there are valves present in vein .

Valves are not present in artries .Because in artries blood is under high pressure due to which there is no chance of back flow of blood, hence there is no use of valves

Homework answer - Arteries don't have valves bcuz the blood can't backflow in arteries as it is pumped by the heart whereas the veins are not pupmed by the heart and therefore to resist or prevent the backflow of blood veins have valves.

Ans.of homework question:Arteries don't have valves because here, blood flows at a high rate, but in veins, flow of blood is not so fast which makes it possible for the blood to flow back. The valves prevent this.

from lungs the oxygenated blood goes to the left atrium through pulmonary vein, then from left atrium the oxigineted blood goes to the lest ventricle ,then through aorta the oxygenated blood is transported to all the organs of the body. Now, the exchange of gasses happens in the capillaries inside the organs and now the blood has no more oxygen, now it has carbon dioxide. So, from the organs the blood with carbon dioxide enters in the Right atrium through the vena cava, then the blood goes in the right atrium and finally from the right atrium the blood with carbon dioxide goes back to the lungs through the pulmonary artery and again the blood with carbon dioxide is converted into oxygenated blood and the cycle continues. ☺

Answer of homework: In arteries, blood is pumped at a higher pressure, so there is no chance for a back flow of blood, that is why there are no valves. In veins, blood flows at a lower pressure, so there are increased chances of back flow of blood. so valves are present to prevent this.
