I don’t usually comment but I feel like I have to! You’re such a kind soul, Mark! We’re similar in a lot of ways, especially when it comes to love. I want my person who I connect with mind, body and soul and I can get caught up in that so much that I try to stick things out that aren’t aligned with me. I’ve been working through a lot of patterns like clinging to the good qualities of someone and ignoring the toxic ones or getting distracted by a love interest when I should be focusing on self love and creativity. I feel like this eclipse brought a lot of it to light and it’s been kinda brutal to process, not gonna lie 😅 but reminding myself that people who don’t align with me leaving my life just opens up space for people that do align! I feel similarly to you Mark. I’ve not watched much of the video yet but you saying whenever you need some kind of reassurance, you always bump into one of us and we give you what you need to hear, you do this for me! Whenever I’m having bad mental health days, you always post on your insta stories what I need to hear, you always reply to my comments saying you’re here for me, you love me, sending me healing wishes, telling me to stay strong and so much more. It’s like you always know, and you are always here for me and it’s so nice to think that I’ve bumped into you in the street before so for all I know you could’ve needed some reassurance and I had no idea. You make such great points already and I’ve paused the video to write this comment because it is so important and you change our lives the same way or in similar ways we change yours. You’re such a lovely person and the universe works in the most mysterious ways, we love you so much and you deserve all the happiness in the world 🩷

Honestly, I didn't know how much I needed this vlog. I had my first day in my new job this week, feeling great. I then burnt my leg 2hrs in and have a second degree on my ankle 😅 okay, not great but we move. I'm a big girl. Then in the afternoon I found out my cat was going to be put to sleep on Wednesday 😭 I've had to power through this entire week and it has been rough. It's felt like a blur but it's Sunday and I'm wallowing today but I got through and that's all we can expect from ourselves sometimes ❤ sending all the love to anyone who's lost a pet recently!
Mark as much as it can sometimes feel very lonely being without a partner it can also be such a positive thing too. Having all that free time just helps you get in touch with yourself. You discover parts about yourself that you didn't know and re discover things from your past like hobbies you used to enjoy that you haven't done for such a long time because other things came up that took priority. It also means that when you do finally find that connection with that special someone it will just come naturally to be your true authentic self and they'll love you for it. And if they don't then they're not the one. And to answer your question mark it shouldn't matter what job you do if it makes you happy the right one will want that for you and they'd be able to see and appreciate what a special person you are and how you brighten up so many people days. thank you truly for that.
Honestly THIS!!!! It’s been a bloody year and I feel that deeply. I’m 30 - My relationship of 13 years abruptly and horribly ended in December due to them cheating on me 💔 He’s already with them…toxic and poisonous shizz going on. Working my ass off to allow my emotions out as they happen but not getting stuck in it and it’s hard. So I feel you with the thinking the love of my life was the love of my life….and now that isn’t it. My first everything, the world seems huge and scary but also finding comfort in some ways. Scared to let myself relax and be happy as my ducks ain’t all in a row yet 😬 You and your outlook on life, you sharing and being raw I appreciate so much!! I have had the worst start of the year, my brother relapsed and had to go into a psychiatric hospital and it was the worst time of my life. I thought I was going to lose my brother forever. I am still struggling going through all things I have heard and saw during this time and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I am so lucky and thankful that my brother survived but I am just barely hanging on. Sending love to you Mark, watching your vlogs really gives me comfort ❤

Mark, one of the things I like most about you is that you keep it real 💯 You are not afraid to be vulnerable, which is a great strength of yours ❤ It makes you relatable and authentic ❣ Many people are not as in touch with themselves as you are, not as reflected and self aware. So they might be intimidated by someone who is all these things. Ergo, someone might check out your content after matching with you on a dating app, and be simply overwhelmed with your authenticity and your willingness to be transparent with your feelings. It can bring up all sorts of insecurities in someone, even if it's often unconscious. Please believe me that they are NOT "put off" by your personality or anything like you suspect. Again, someone who is sure of themselves, as you are, reveals insecurities and "weaknesses" in another who has not done the work you have. Also I totally agree with you on the people showing up to your flat unannounced with no appointment. I wouldn't have let them in at all. I had a so-called maintenance guy do that to me while I was at a client's apartment once and he tried to force his way in when I i told him to come back next week. and luckily my client's dog backed him up and I was able to shut and lock the door. If there isn't an appointment then it's a no from me
I honestly can’t tell you how wonderful it is to see real, raw life on the internet. I feel like so much of what you see nowadays is so unrealistic and honestly makes me feel like I’m failing so miserably bc I’m struggling and having bad days. The communication thing, last time I was on the apps I matched with someone that had in their profile something about the importance of resolving conflict with good communication and whatnot, all with very smart terms. When something (or someone) seems like it should work out, and you can’t think of a single reason why it didn’t, that’s how you KNOW God is watching out for you and has something better. The universe is working so hard behind the scenes to make sure you get EXACTLY what you deserve and nothing left out, so as good as something may feel, imagine how much better when it’s right. When it’s yours. Doesn’t make the waiting easier but it makes it hopeful and exciting. And as for your “personality” flat and your content being an issue for people, all of it, is what I absolutely love about you and I think so many others do as well. You are not building a “brand” or persona like everyone else, you’re just being you which sets you apart in a way so many will not understand or be able to handle.
