Plastic shed with wooden shelves, no wood is fastened to the plastic walls,there is 4x2 bolted through the floor on three sides, uprights are fastened to this and 4x2 riveted to the metal roof supports, thats the key to making this very strong, this is built inside a Lifetime shed, please note you cant do this in a keter as you dont get the same roof supports.

Tom Woods I got the same shed built a week ago. I didn't have much issue with the skylight as many have but the back wall didn't line up due to the extra plastic I had on many pieces. I should have shaved it down but the weather was turning for the worse. The skylight will need to be replace in a few years from what I read, it will split in two depending on the region you are in. I just got some 3/8 3 inch tapcon and ready to anchor but came across your video and will add some framing like you did. I also need to do the caulking and people told me the silicone will not bond with the plastic. What did you used? I seen people add a piece of wood to the trussle for more support. The only thing i found that does bond is Gorilla clear 100% silicone, most silicones on sale aint 100% silicone, these sheds are a pain for that, not heard about the skylight, whats the problem with them? Cheers

@@elwdriver I actually picked up some gorilla clear so good to hear it work out for you. Did you squeeze some on the skylight as well? Supposedly the skylight will crack in the middle due to weather conditions and depending on where you live. Lifetime sent a new skylight to some customers that had this problem.
