This is our new manager, right? This isn't a dream? From the mess of last season (the less said about that, the better) to the appointment of Chris Davies. The more and more I watch/listen to what he has to say, the more and more I'm blown away by what he has to say and how he says it. What a really confident, humble, honest, hard workinh man, who has the perfect mindset. This appointment is an absolute masterstroke. I said it after his first interview and I will say it again after this one.... this man is a future England manager. Let's make the most of him whilst we have him. Chris Davies is supremely impressive. I just know that he will walk the walk just as much as he talks the talk. Chris Davies is a proper Bluenose 🔵 👃 🌍 🏐 KRO 💙

What I like about Chris is that he mapped out his career and took the time to learn the game step by step without ego. That's what was missing from messers like Rooney. They were great players but never humbled themselves to put the lower-end graft in. In that way props to Ashley Cole for also going about a similar route.

Has lots of experience and has had to come back from adversity. Looking forward to his time with Blues.

Interesting, he says leader a number of times. About time someone at the sharp end used that word.

You can see why he was the outstanding candidate and blew Tom Wagner and the owners away. We now have a manager who is knowledgable and articulate, but also won’t put up with any nonsense in the dressing room. His career ending injury seems to have spurred him on to pursue his coaching career and succeeded against all the odds, despite being so young. Love how confident he is in his own abilities, which in turn, gives me confidence that this is the right man for the job at the right time. Looking forward to next season and beyond with Chris Davies in charge. KRO

Smart guy! Sounds like he's had the perfect coaching progression over 20 years, learning step by step, not rushing or jumping into a role or job just for a bigger club or more money! And now itx paid of with the perfect Head Coach/Manager opportunity at a Big Club at the start of something big, and conversely at a the ideal Level for him in League 1! Still big pressure though ar such an ambitious moment of club! Owners and Fans will be foaming for instant promotion in his first year! Whereas as Wrexham now, its the first year Phil Parkinson won't be under as much pressure, as Wrexham will be content to finish in Top half, with a play off place being a bonus! Blues should easily get one of Top 4 promotion spots!!🤔

You are a product of your environment and the setbacks in Chris' life have defined his character. He really has an inner strength about him. Very excited to have him in charge.

What strikes me is all the positives oozing out from this conversation.
