@@harrytomlinson5823Chris had the intelligence and recognised the potential. As opposed to Liam Rosenior who missed the great opportunity. Also he is not arrogant in possibly all the other failures our owners managed to avoid. You can just picture these football failed managers looking down their noses at the owners and thinking these owners know nothing about football. However on the contrary our owners are quick learners and this is a very shrewd appointment. KRO "Behaviour off the pitch"? Watch your step Sanderson!

It’s an appointment we’ve never really made before but has been paying off for other clubs. The owners haven’t rushed into this and I trust them 100% that they’ve found a top young manager

A breath of fresh air. He's clearly very articulate and seems to have a clear view of what he wants to achieve. Sounds like he won't tolerate players staying in their comfort zone, they need to be pushing the boundaries.

Really hopeful that this is a big turning point for us now. We seem to have found a young but very experienced manager, we have a summer of being able to rebuild the squad with the players that the new owners/ manager actually want (not just dead wood hanging around) and a chance to actually get some momentum by dropping down a division and hopefully actually winning far more than losing! Here’s hoping that the next 10 years are far better than the previous 10😁

Sounds like someone well used to office speak, ticking all the boxes, being efficient and good at making presentations in the boardroom. I can see why Wagner has hired him. Whether or not he will be any good as a manager I don't know. I'm not going to be negative though, even if the new season starts poorly. Would be nice to see how well a manager does after 4 seasons.
