You understand he's trying to show people the relative prices because he's trying to communicate. It's useful for viewers to have this too relate to. In 1941 the SwiSS gave Hitler 1 billion SwiSS Francs for operation Barbarossa for the Nazi genocide on the Russian and Ukrainian people; SwiSSyland was founded by the Knights Templars in 1291, who became the Nazi-Templars in 1923. You may translate these videos into Russian or Ukrainian with Russian or Ukrainian subtitles and reupload them on the internet, because these videos are the present to humanity in its battle against the Nazi-Templars, who rule the whole world today. Please someone translate this video into Russian and into Ukrainian, and the intel of the video might stop this senseless Ukraine war; if not, then both Russia and the Ukraine will be destroyed, because of the political agenda of the global enemy within, with which they want to destroy peoples. Watching your video from the US, I want to say that I have great respect for the Russian people, their heartiness, resilience, groundedness, and genuine joy for life. I love your country even though I have never been there, but watched hundreds of documentaries on Russia, and more often than not what we get spoonfed here in the US about your country is a megaload of BS and lies. We're all people living on the same planet, breathing the same air, having the same needs, and in our hearts are all united, regardless of politics and the shots that the elite call. You're making excellent videos, portraying your country and its people in a way that is much of a joy to watch, and also learn! Unbiased, firsthand experiences is what we need, not censored and regulated propaganda. So thank you for your wonderful work, and keep it up!

When USSR gets rockets in Cuba MSM starts screaming OMGOGMG they will attack US ,but when NATO (created to fight USSR which no longer exists) puts NUKES not just rockets next to Russia its not ok for Russia to defend itself because the MSM funded by CIA and WEF said so. As an ex romanian living in US I gotta say that this IS a good reason for Russia to defend itself even if that means nuclear war and end life on Earth. Totally agree. Most countries have citizens who only want to live in peace and love, but who, due to political leadership in their own or other countries, have to live in an unstable society. The ordinary Russian does not want war, but in the long run will feel the sanctions on his body because of what is happening now. in the same way that we in Norway have high prices on fuel and energy due to the war.

@@cyberfunk3793 Most people do not want war. I was not alone in thinking about the Ukraine war. More generally on war. For ordinary Russians, they do not have access to a free and independent press. They are being fed misinformation by the Kremlin-controlled media. Are Americans and Westerners brutal aswell then? Don't be hipocritical. The Usa is still bullying Cuba because Cuba dared to not be a client state of the Hegemonic Usa, if you're a small country next to a powerful one you have to be careful how you operate, the same way the Usa is punishing Cuba for making the wrong choices according to the Usa, the same way Russia is punishing Ukraine for making the wrong choices according to Russia. Politicians in Kiev made one mistake after another starting with removing the president in 2014 from his position, naively thinking (or rather hoping) Russia would just let it slide and let Ukraine become part of the West, including Nato and EU or let Kiev bomb the populations to death in the separatist regions in Donbas. Don't get me wrong, it's sad that the war is going on, but it's much more complex than painting Russia as the evil while acting like Ukraine is innocent and pure.

I could travel the country 24/7 by train (except the high speed trains), busses, trams, subways, any sort of public transport except aircraft. The bus ride to the city was comfortable and done in 25 minutes. Going by car would have taken just as long. But on the busses face mask are mandatory and that’s good to see.

They never liked America and had always hoped to return to their village but unfortunately never had the expenses to do so. I've always wanted to move to Russia in honor of them and for the past couple years I'm highly HIGHLY considering it in the next few years. Although my family's blood is German, our heart and spirit is Russian and home is Russia 🇷🇺 🤍💙❤

a friend of mine moved to Russia from Texas recently. the only difficult part would be paperwork for residence permit/citizenship but he was lucky enough to get it all sorted out while still in th US and was coming as a full russian citizen already. his case is a bit peculiar and unique in this aspect - normally this part is much harder. anyways once you get this one sorted all the rest is super easy. he came here with almost no savings whatsoever but everythig turned out really nice for him. being a native english speaker you can be sure to get a job as a techer that will cover all the neccesary costs - rent, food, transportation etc.

Hehe.. Thanks Zak. Your daughter is so cute, and it made me laugh when she was blowing soap from your head. Your experience is mostly in line with friends I know, and why some parts of the provinces can be a little run down and neglected, not all of them are. And how much do you really need to have a happy, healthy childhood anyway? Eli did a video on some of the forgotten cities in Russia and that was quite sad and moving, but it was also inevitable in some respects. Nothing really lasts for ever and as industry and work changes so do cities and towns. I know from my own life that we lost the local shows, the local produce, and it all got consolidated to chains of supermarkets. I only wish I could find a greengrocer, a butcher and a baker still. But now they have all but disappeared. Thank you for sharing your experiences and your lovely family, Zak. I look forward to more honest reporting from Russia.

Nice to see you and your family out and having fun. The kind of farmers markets you have still exists in a lot of places in the USA too (more so decades ago), but they have largely been pushed out to more and more rural areas, although there have been trends of trying to bring them back into areas that have grown more commercial & the cities. I think these areas have more access to one-off food vendors than most areas of the US does as we're dominated by chains and mom & pop restaurants. Some cities to have a good variety of food trucks though. There's usually something a bit familiar to be seen in videos of ordinary life in Russia. Having sanctions not hurt poor people is very good news. It confirms that their intent isn't expanding to hurt those who should not be hurt... at least in this aspect.

@@ferrariguy8278 I judge by my family, which is currently divided. The eldest daughter lives in Germany and I know how much her utility bills and food bills have increased. We also have negative consequences of sanctions in Russia, but they do not concern products and things of everyday use. Those who left were quickly replaced by others. Yes, I can't get on a plane right now and hug my daughter in two hours. I can't send money to my daughter, or order her a bouquet of flowers delivered to her house for her birthday, as I did before. Your idiots politicians thought that this would turn people like me against our government, but they don't know our Russian character. We now hate your governments that have made us so uncomfortable. We are ready to stand to the death, we will win this confrontation!
@ferrariguy8278
@ferrariguy8278 2 года назад
 @Vladimir Nikolskiy Well, it's been clear on the other side that Russia would do just that, so we're quite willing to let it beat itself to death as we expected (historically expected) choosing violence for the least excusable of reasons. And no, our politicians were agnostic if it turned Russians against their government or not (as that rarely happens fully); but we all were disappointed that wasn't a side effect as it leaves redemption exceedingly distant. That would have been desirable end leading to friendship rebirth sooner, but immaterial to ending this thing and not a primary goal of cutting Russia off to live on it's own. We're all pretty unified in the West behind our Governments, not hating Russians, but hating the Russian government. As Russia did for the Vietnamese, we will be supporting the complete and utter end of your occupation of Ukraine whatever that takes with our combined output. We're incredibly impressed by them as a people. They have the Russian heart of resistance, and the Western love of liberty. That's unbeatable in the end. You should quit worrying about if it hurts us as you've struck the fist blow and already hurt our hopes and faith in you as a Nation to take a better brighter path, rejecting what made us provide so much cooperation and help over the last few decades in the hope of a new brotherhood. Our disappointment almost hurts worse. Russia is sadly foolish, as is the provincial ancient imperial attitude I see you displaying, and isn't going to be able to pay the price without MAD. The price it is going to pay in losing appears to more enormous than it had to be. You will blame us when it should be the mirror you're looking into, but that simply cannot be helped.
@vladimirnikolskiy
@vladimirnikolskiy 2 года назад
@@ferrariguy8278 Well, in principle, I did not expect any other answer from you. You've confirmed what I was thinking. The West, Russia's eternal enemy, must be destroyed. It's hard to see this. I'm in the US and our media tries to portray Russia as something other than ordinary people trying to raise their families and live their lives. I'm sure we're depicted the same way. There are real people who get hurt when governments can't get along. There's real suffering and real heartache. Real loss. I don't you or your family hurt. I've never even laid eyes on you before today but I don't wish you any harm. Maybe if more people could see past the propaganda and see people in "enemy" countries we could all agree to let old men fight their own fights while the rest of us live our lives. I think that pensioners, on the whole, have a different vision of life, as they do not buy just to consume like the younger generations, but as they made a lot of sacrifices to get their pensions, they are very careful not to waste this "treasure", trying to survive and even saving some money and this is the example that we should follow during times of crisis.
