God heals 3 ways! He heals instantly, like those miracles of diseases vanishing from people. He heals progressively, thru medicine, doctor, and nurses (Doctors treat, God provides the healing). And he heals ultimately, when he takes us home. God is giving you the healing that he has promised. To God be the glory!!!

I have a very similar experience in the same time frame. I started therapy about 5 months ago and I thought the same thing; I’m already extremely self aware. What I learned is saying things out loud to a professional with no judgement who also understands the brain is so safe. Getting it all out and not having to explain yourself afterwards because they just GET IT? So life changing.

The amount of bags you realize you’ve been carrying and need to unpack once you start going to therapy…. Whew!!! Had the same epiphany like Iris, like, I got A LOTTTT of work to do. It’s a process and I like the progress. Hard work but worth it.

We miss you too but sometimes you need a break. Life has been lifing a lot lately and I’m also about to take on therapy soon myself. I lost the last close family member that helped raise my sister and I. It’s been hard so I respect your decision to take time away.
