Life Update and SCL500 First Impressions

So my life has been hectic these past couple weeks so I wanted to give you all an update. In he same day I also was able to try out the new Honda SCL500 and I loved it it makes me want one now but I got a lot I'm trying to. So that might be later on down the road. Hope you all enjoy

You rode this on my birthday. I like the ergonomics of this bike better than the Rebel for me. Also that orange is just beautiful. By the way, I've always dealt with Josh at Hometown.

I got my SCL500 in the green at the end of august, my first bike, basically a month later and 400miles under my belt I have zero regrets and every ride I'm so thankful I didn't pick any other bike for my first. Taking her for her first long trek this week to go show her off to my dad ^.^ 160miles round trip, which is perfect cause when I get back she will be ready for her first oil change and officially 'broken in'. (chain adjusted at 350miles, throttle cable adjusted today). I love the height on it in comparison to the rebels, im a taller rider, 6 3, so its comfortable. Plus where I live (Texas) everyone has a brotruck so its nice to be able to see over them when I need to.

hey im 6 foot 3 also im confused i wanted rebel 500 but after i went to the dealership the rebel 500 is low and doesnt feel good but the rebel looks good i like that design i also sat on the scrambler and it was much more conforable! what do you think i should get for like a 30km commute to college everyday

is this good for commute to college like 30km away? or should i get the rebel? im 6 foot 3

@@ProGamer-nm1ey yeah I think that would be fine and with you being taller than me might not be a bad thing cause it does sit you higher. It was a super fun bike for sure

So they didn’t look at it too close they just said that I need new brake pads but a couple days later upon further inspection. Gus from @ontherebel11 noticed that the brake pad on the inside wasn’t in the right spot and we ended up taking it apart and it’s all good now.
