since finding y'alls channel me and my husband decided to move back into our 3 bedroom 2bath trailer because it feels more cozy and it just feels more like home. we have 4 boys and they all share 1 bedroom (which their bedroom is as big as our master bedroom so they all fit comfortably in there), when we try to split them into 2 bedrooms they just all go back to sleeping all together in one room so it just makes sense to keep them together. congrats on the new baby coming.
Wow that's awesome Samantha! Thanks for sharing that with us! It is super special and sweet how kids get used to sharing rooms with each other! It's encouraging to hear of another family with four kids successfully sharing one room!

I found your videos because of your remodel but we have such similar mindsets so I had to subscribe. I’d love to see how you organize your kitchen. I watched your home tour but I feel like the kitchen is one of the hardest places to downsize. Praying for a safe and smooth natural delivery ❤️
Sarah, you are correct! The kitchen was definitely the most difficult place to downsize. So much stuff that we 'think' is necessary! 😔... What we did was only take what we thought we needed, and stored the rest. If we needed something, we went and got it. Within a couple of months, you know what you need and do not need. It worked well! Good luck, and please keep us updated on your journey! We love hearing what other people are doing regarding downsizing!
Haha, we were laughing as we watched the snow part back after we made the video as well, after seeing video of Colorado's cyclone snow storm! Ours was more of a frosting. I bet you guys are ready for Spring there in MN as well!

Congrats! I don’t know what your building codes are but you might want to consider adding an addition with a bedroom or two off the back as they get older. Teens, especially different genders in the same room is a recipe for chaos. My grandparents bought a shack of a house for $1500 60 years ago and added on twice as they could afford it. Can’t wait for the baby to come 😊 God Bless!
Thanks Zane! We are definitely looking into building on. We will have something figured out as far as Trey having his own room/space as he gets a little older. The three girls could still share for a long while I'm sure. :)
We lived in a 1000sq ft home...4 small kids & several dogs...it was wonderful! We are moving back to that same 1000 sq ft home soon- with 4 teenaged sized kids. Small is good- and along the lines of what you said many people in the world would consider our "small" homes luxurious.
