I have recently began researching mobile homes and the financial freedom they bring. It is inspiring to hear your story and the happiness it brings to your family. I will be moving out on my own soon (I am a recent graduate), and definitely feel the pressure from my peers and even my parents. Most of them are buying brand new homes. I however, do not feel that is the best option for me. There are a lot of naysayers but I have to remember what is best for my situation. Mathew 6:19-21 reads “lay not up for yourself treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt,and where thieves break through and steal, but lay up for yourself treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. People get so caught up in their things and trying to keep up with everyone else. Any time you go against the grain you will get naysayers. You are so right to just ignore them!

we had to deal with my husband's family being naysayers when we decided to move back into our mobile home but we have been just not listening to them and staying to ourselves like we did before. you can't please everyone in life so just do things that make you happy.

I wish I could click the like button over and over. This is a video....a lesson that was hard for me to learn for awhile. My husband is disabled and now I've suffered some health setbacks after an accident. I felt like a failure with the changes we have had to make when in reality, they were smart decisions under any circumstance! Others would say negative things but they aren't walking in our shoes. Thanks for the positive reinforcement! I love watching your journey!!

Ivy, thank you for sharing this!! It's easy to allow ourselves to feel negative when others express negative opinions about our decisions in life. The is amazing video. I needed to hear this. My life is going through changes. New job and not being a stay at home mom. It overwhelmingly feels of leaving my kids for work.

Transitioning from a stay-at-home parent to a working parent can be difficult! Stay encouraged, though! Sometimes we have to make sacrifices in our lives in order to provide a better future for our family. Hi! I love your channel. I have a question for y'all. I know you guys have multiple children just like my husband and I, and we are planning on downsizing and definitely thinking about downsizing to a single wide like your amily did. Do you ever worry about what your kids will think as teenagers sharing a Room? Does that ever cross your mind? I am just nervous about downsizing so much to where our kids as teenagers will not like their home. Do you guys plan on staying in this smaller home as your kids grow to teenagers?
