It's literally been a year in South Korea for me, 1 year teaching English and being away from home. In this video I'll be answering the question that many of you have around my future plans in South Korea and a sneak peak into 2023. I hear you girl. Being home sick is something else. Hence, why I’m forcing through things to go home after my contract, even though the immigration is making it difficult 😩to do so, worse I’m hagwon teacher. But hey.. home is where I’m going😊

Hi Koketso, the TB form is a new addition- I didn’t need to have it at the time of my application so I have no idea whose meant to complete it. 🥺

Can I extend the EPIK contract because I heard that after almost 1 year you can't teach, do I get job security or not?

Hi, yes. it's not necessarily called an extension. so what happens is, before your contract ends about 3-4 months before or even sooner. Your school will ask you if you want to stay, if you do, you'll sign a renewal contract with them (epic) :) so yes, there is job security. if you want to renew with that school every year then you can do so.

It is, the same. But I have a bigger plan for my future. And for right now it doesn’t involve moving back home permanently. But I will definitely be going home during vacation 😋
