I am fairly new to your channel, intrigued by Jones Road, almost stopped by the Montclair store today. I am central NJ, but was leaving my sons house in Livingston. It was too early this morning, so I went home. I’m really new to make up at age 66, lol. Maybe one day I will visit store and meet you! Rarely wear foundation, the web site doesn’t really guide me that easily to correct shades. I think I need in person direction. Enjoying your videos! Congratulations!

Awhile back I watched Bobbi's Masterclass and I thought "this weekend I'm going out of town but next weekend I am definitely going to a makeup counter and getting a full makeover. It's time for a change!" That was April 2020. By that next weekend the whole world had shut down. Now that I'm all vaxxed up I'm revisiting that idea. Your videos have helped inspire me. If the store wasn't 11 hours away from me I'd definitely pop in for that makeover. 😊

I am so curious about the miracle balm. I placed an order of the balms and the eye - face concealer pencils. I don’t like powders that much either but somehow got into them. I used to be a bare mineral gal, and used it for a number of years. But that formula changed and now it looks so dry on my skin. Or perhaps I got older?! Anyway, I feel like I want to try more different makeup again. And before Bare Minerals, I also used bobbi brown. I had a hunter green pencil from her that I swear I think I bought it 20 years ago and still was working well lol.
Heyy!! Ohh I loved Hunter Green!! That shade was gorgeous. The Miracle Balm is really nice. It gives a beautiful glow to the face with a hint of color. If you still love powder foundation you can apply this ontop and it will give a gorgeous finish. Which Balm and shades did you get?
Would u recommend’Magic Hour’ balm for a pale complexion (cool tone) ? I naturally have a light pinkness to my cheeks, and I need a balm that I can wear all over in place of foundation. I don’t want to use the clear, no color balm, I def want some color. Any suggestions please? 🙏😀
Hey!! I think you might like Dusty Rose or Bronze better. Magic Hour is a beautiful highlight shade that has some shimmer in it. So I don't recommend using it everywhere on the face. Dusty Rose will give you an over all glow to your face and Bronze leans more golden bronze. I hope this helps!
Hey! I used pencil 13 under my eyes and 15 on red spots on my face. I used Miracle Balm on Sunkissed as a bronzer, so perimeter of the face and where the sun naturally hits your face.
I feel like Jones Road products look beautiful on young women, but not so great on us older ladies. I'm 70, and I'm not sure it covers the issues that make me feel bad about myself. No matter what I use, I still just see an old, tired woman in the mirror 😢
I'm so sorry to hear that. I agree with you, it's not the best coverage and it's really not for everyone. I have stopped using jrb too, it actually broke my skinout a lot. A brand that I do enjoy very much is RMS Beauty. Have you tried it? It's got great coverage and moves so nicely with the skin.
