I have the Jones Road What The Foundation. It’s amazing. Great for dry skin. Does not settle into lines. Looks fantastic - even after hours of wear. Great stuff.
@@LdowL1234 Does not emphasize them. Does not blur them. WTF sinks into the skin making your skin look better while it looks like you’re not wearing foundation. It’s very moisturizing, so it acts like a really good hydrating moisturizer where your skin immediately looks hydrated and smooth. And what’s amazing to me is that it lasts all day and looks just as good at the end of the day as when you first applied it. It’s expensive stuff, so if you’re thinking of getting it, send them a photo of yourself so they can color match you. I have very dry, dehydrated, mature skin, so it works really well for me. The people with more normal, oily skin don’t like it.
The Jones Road foundation had such a strong , funky odor... I used it a few times ( and was not particularly impressed... it failed to cover in the slightest the small blotch on my cheek even when trying to build it up some) and quite honestly was not a fan of the siliconey feel / sticky feel it left on my skin all day long... even with powder... I chalked it up as a loss and tossed it! The powder might behave better though, so maybe I'll give it a try... in any event, you looked great in the combo of Jones Road... have a great rest of the week! I can't abide the smell of the WTF. I haven't tossed it yet, but I rarely use it because of that heavy, spa-like scent, which lasted on me all day. This powder looks good, though. I also love Ziva's cameo appearances!
@@reikiwithcary2682 Me too! Another bad one is Chanel cream foundation. Besides being terribly expensive, the scent is unbearable. I had no business buying it in the first place. Sent it back, not only due to the scent, but I couldn't get it to look good on my face, no matter what.

I too was/am a metal head. I’m tellin’ ya, we would be the best of friends! I wish WTF gave me the coverage I need. I have tried over and over again, but rosacea skin makes it hard. I have many Jones Road products. I think you would really like the light tan powder bronzer. It’s perfect for us light gals. I’m also loving the bronze, magic hour, and flushed miracle balms. I really need to order the translucent and yellow powders. I think the yellow one would do wonders for my redness. I like Haus Labs loose powder and use it the most right now. Good to know about the powder. I’d pretty much given up on “powder” for my dry skin. However, Trinny London has a matting cream that’s fantastic. You only need a tiny amount to take the shine away anywhere you need it to be gone.

Years ago when I wore mineral makeup I had a sample of and used a purple finishing/setting powder and it gave such a beautiful, flawless finish to it. I have never been able to find a product like it.
Try hourglass powders. The finishing powders. One is almost purple but i believe it would produce the effects you are going for. Best of luck to uou. I personally use ethereal light and diffused light as finishing powders and although they are expensive they are worth it
The makeup looked very nice and natural. I love Bobbie brown too. Want to to try her makeup. I never even tried anything and still love her. Just A money thing. I think it may be time to splurge on something.

I just ordered the powder in pink. I can’t wait to try it. I can tell a big difference in the condition of my skin since I’ve been using the WT foundation… This is a great product for skin care.
I definitely have to try this powder. The only powder that works for me is the Chanel poudre universelle libre loose powder. They have pressed version too but I prefer the loose. I have severely dry skin and eczema patches on my face and this powder is so good but so expensive. And trust me my skin is so dry I can’t use any face brushes on my skin I have to apply all of my complexion products using a sponge. You have to give it a try.

The foundation looks fantastic on you. It makes your skin look so nice. I look forward to trying the powder. I’ve never been able to wear powder with my dry skin but I’m hopeful that that one will work. I love the Jones Road WT foundation… I’ve Not been able to put foundation under my eyes until the Road. Just love it and I look forward to trying many more products. I’m also impressed with the mascara… First one I’ve ever tried that didn’t clump. Thank you for your demonstration.
It has me wearing powder again for the first time in years! I love Bobbi Brown. She's definitely got some mature-skin genius in her Jones Road products.
Coincidentally, I really like the IT Cosmetics pointed powder brush you mentioned for powder blush. I feel like it helps lay the color down nicely while also blending in one motion.

I've been a fan of pink and violet powders for quite some time; I do have to apply them very lightly on my dry skin, though, to avoid looking like crumpled parchment paper. My favorite violet powder is from Besame, and I wish I could find it! (It's been in hiding since our last move.) The JR pink powder looks especially nice. While Ziva didn't make a personal appearance, it's good to know she's there in spirit (cat-hair).
I do sometimes feel like I have cat hair everywhere… but I don’t own a cat!!! 🤣 Seriously though, I do have a very fluffy, long-haired, dog, same thing!!! I need to buy that powder! It looks amazing on you! It reminds me of my Westman Atelier powder, but that powder does not last very long throughout the day. Thanks for the video!

That WTF is a cat hair MAGNET lolsob! But I love it anyway. Your eye look here is fantastic; that Dior mascara looks amazing, may have to try it. As for the JR powder, their quiz told me to go with the untinted one, but being extra-light warm, I'm wondering if yellow would be good for me (I use WTF in Porcelain and pencils #1 and #3)
I've been side eyeing all the Jones Road stuff for so long... I really want to try it but the price point and majority of the interwebs chatter has me questioning myself. Here comes Shelly to further complicate this whole sitch... Argh my poor budget!!! 😢😢😊
My wallet sobs in the corner any time I even think about pulling up Sephora or Ulta :) One nice thing about the Jones Road products is that they have a lot of stuff on their web site and Instagram that effectively describes what/who each product is intended for. They're more no-nonsense rather than fluffy advertising copy, and I've found their descriptions to be pretty spot on. So if what they describe doesn't seem like it's in your lane, it's probably not, if that makes sense.
Hi Shelly,can you try the uomo water powder, Milabu showed it , I pit in my ulta cart, of course I hesitated now its sold out. We generally like the same products.
Lightly, yes - though I haven't tried baking or heavy powdering with it. I tend to only use what's left on my powder brush after I've set my face and then take that under my eyes.
It's ppl like you who leave passive-aggressive comments like yours that makes me happy I don't make content. Fyi, she didn't ask if other foundations look better on her.
