Yay, welcome back!! Congrats on graduating and getting your first job, that's wonderful! How fitting and appropriate for you to come back with a RotE related video hahah, we love to see it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, loved this video!!
I got my copy of #2 in the LA rain. I was drenched but it was worth it. I love Fitz, Molly, and Burrich in the comics. Not too keen on Verity so far, but I'm excited to see more, and to see the Fool 🤩
the rain lately has been so nice but I also just don’t wanna go anywhere lol. It’s been really fun making a trip to the comic book store every couple weeks for the next comic, feels very 90s. I’m super excited to see the fool in the next issue !!
Welcome back! Missed you. I’m on the last book of Farseer trilogy. It’s my first time reading Hobb. Not sure if I’ll explore the graphic novels or not, but what I’ve seen looks cool.
@@r1ddhima you’re welcome. I am thank you. So far so good. Royal Assassin was my favorite book of 2022. I’m struggling with the pacing of Quest, but I hope to finish it this month, and then start Liveship.
I’m not a Farseer/RotE fan (yet 👀), or someone who regularly reads comics, but I do absolutely believe in the same thing you were saying of the books always being there. The existence of an adaptation doesn’t change that, and so it’s cool to see them trying to really take the effort to adapt the story to a new medium, even if that means condensing the story a little! If it doesn’t work out, the books will always be there!
Mark you have resisted the Hobbitdom for so long (valid). Maybe you can be my Guinea pig who reads the comics before the book lol. (Don’t do that.) and thank you 😊
@@r1ddhima don’t worry Rid, I see what you’re really saying. I’ll read all the comics first and read the Wikipedia synopses to fill in the parts left out before I read any of the books. For science 🙂
Welcome back and congratulations on graduating and starting your career! Loved hearing your thoughts on those Assassin’s Apprentice graphic novels, especially since I haven't heard much about them until now. Hope all is well!
