Hi Garry. You may recall that the new extension to Abreeza was the construction site for making the pre-stressed concrete walls for the condo's there. Originally that area was a swamp and they had to hammer in hundreds of concrete piles to build the mall on. The extension should be a great addition to the Abreeza Mall.
That's proper rain Garry 😂😂. We think that we have heavy rain here in the UK 🇬🇧. Last week after a few good downpours there were road closures galore. We really don't know what heavy rain is in the UK. I hope that everyone there in Davao survived the flooding and not too many people were washed out? Thanks for sharing.
Hi Davao Dave it's been a little wet this week here Annie got stuck and j had to go get here bi transport so walked. Next night rain again with more flooding but all good here downtown people house full water then next night really heavy storm but no flooding. I think the sluice and gullys and drains were cleared out but the other two night rain making the flood water flow away . All good today dry hot and back to notmallitt..
The VAT is introduced for so-called "digital services" provided by companies that have no presence in the Philippines. Example: gaming, streaming (Netflix, HBO, You Tube etc), internet (Starlink). It has nothing to do with the supply of goods, like your orders at Amazon. They are taxed at importation, however a tax exemption applies for shipments below php 10k. Foreign service providers will charge the VAT as of April 1 or July 1 2025.

Importation agree tax paid at source ..but when you order items online what was said to me was item will have vstbsdded ..I don't order online so unsure what the process as my region doesn't get Amazon delivery ...oh well another tax
Wow it's crazy how much water gets dumped in a rain storm..we had roads flooded in minutes and traffic stopped due to depth of water . But all dry now and lots oeooke clearing up
If this new tax is aimed at foreign owned companies then that would not only affect Amazon , but also Shopee and Lazada as they are foreign owned businesses.
