Congratulations my love! Im a new mother of twins. First pregnancy too. It was hard as it was my first pregnancy and not only with 1 baby but 2! Alhamdulillah it was overwhelming for me and I experienced what you also have. Having 2 babies of the same age wasn’t easy but it got easier Alhamdulillah. Give yourself time girl, your tummy will go down, your abs are still loosy loosy, if you start working out too soon it can actually be counterproductive. Six weeks is the standard recommended recovery time before any ab work

Dina I love and appreciate you so much for talking so honestly about your breast feeding experiences. I experienced post natal depression because of breast feeding with my first as well and I felt so guilty stopping. Now,though, if I have a second child and I feel those baby blues coming again I will definitely not guilt myself again because I really believe that a happy mum equals a happy baby, breast milk or not. God bless your little family ♡

Just an FYI, to my knowledge Ive read that it can be very risky to have babies under 1 years old sleep on their stomachs/side as it can lead to sudden infant death syndrome or crib death!!! Its apparently always best to lay them down on their backs, just an FYI!! Its always best to play it safe right, Allah forbid anything to happen to this precious newborn

I’m so glad you were able to make the right decision for yourself to stop breastfeeding. I was miserable for 7 months with my first because like you I wouldn’t give myself the option to stop, and there isn’t much discussion around when breastfeeding causes depression.

Please don't start on any abs workout. Check for abdominal separation or known as diastasis recti. Get professional therapist to help work on core strength. Then move on to regular exercises. Sending love to u and family.

Dina! My bf just told me that when cats bring things in from out doors it's like a token of appreciation for their "leader" or caretaker (was I the only one who didn't know this? Lol). He also told me this guy on Reddit (don't know source) would say no when his cat brought a rat or a bird in but one day the cat brought a big leaf and owner said yes and kept the leaf and the cat kept bringing leaves! How sweet! Maybe try that? Guys thumbs this up so she sees I hope this helps save some poor small animals lives 😂

You should try cool boiled water and gripe water for the gas, I just had a newborn myself and it saved me from the sleepless nights he was awake groaning from the gas pains. Hope it helps.

Watching ur vlog bringing back memories of when I had my second baby she’s hana age mashaAllah x and I can do relate to the breastfeeding part I gave up after feeding for 3months it got too much for me with two kids plus with my first it didn’t go well at all ... much love x

I hear you with the breastfeeding. I stopped with both my children after two weeks because of my mood. xxx You'll probably feel so much better and if you like being busy it gives you freedom because you can feed them and put them down to sleep and they are happy !

People shouldn’t be so judgmental about how others practice their religion but at the same time we should be encouraging people to follow the religion in the best way possible and in my eyes that is to be a good role model. We don’t need to sit behind our keyboards and tell her off for her hijab. We should all be displaying Islam through our actions and character.
