I love the way you edit your videos. Everything has a very light-hearted energy in it. I wish you best of luck trying to get a grip of your new routine.
I read your blog post on Baby Blues - it was interesting...I don't have children but it's interesting to see what it's like for first time mums and what they go through. Respect to all the moms out there.👍🏼
WOW! Your family (Mom and gram) are BEAUTIFUL!!! I thought your mom was your sister or something. Your gigi doesn't even have visible wrinkles!!! You should start a mommy channel. I would stick around, and i'm sure you would get a lot of views.
The joys of motherhood Dina! Mashallah you still are looking beautiful. These blogs are so good because it shows real life of motherhood. Alhumdolillah you have wonderful family support and that's the best thing to have after you've had a baby. May Allah subhanatala keep you and your baby in good health x
Love this video. I had my first baby 5 years ago and I remember feeling/being the same way. Crumbs in the baby's hair, mascara becomes an accomplishment, and needing your mothers help to adjust. You guys seem like wonderful parents! So happy for you!
watching again just honestly ur so beautiful without make up please don't worry as ur a natural beauty . I'm trying more make up free days as I'm also a bust mum and just can't be bothered lol
you get feeding shawls. if you cant buy one its pretty easy to sew one at home. very convenient and folds up small to fit in your nappy bag. much more convenient and better coverage then just a scarf :)
I'm not sure about the UK but in America we have mom class/groups just for baby wraps and slings. They bring wraps and slings to try on, it's a sorta like a support group and everyone offers tips and advice. If you see a wrap you like you can borrow it for the month for a small fee before you pay all that money to purchase it. I haven't gone to the class but my friend goes all the time and she her son has been a "wrapped baby" since very early in his life. He is now almost 2 and she still wraps him on her back. They offer them at our local library but maybe you could look into if England has them. I think any type of mommy support group is great for first time moms.
you and your brother together is the nicest thing i've ever seen in my LIFE and tbh it reminds me of my brother and i and now i miss him so i'm going to call him lol
Hey dina try playing the Quran for Hannah when ur trying to put her to sleep... After 7 make it night time for her and during daytime don't tip toe round her to much.. In that way she will get to knw the dfrnc between daytime and night. I have 3 children and alhumdulilah it worked excellent but your doing great and love ur videos when do u shave Hannah's hair
I have the same pram. agree it's difficult to get stuff in the bottom I hardly use it. You need to buy a mummy clip, to hang your shopping. Can buy it from most shops I got mine from tesco.
Dina you can buy special hooks to put on prams so you can hang extra bags, take the bags off before you take the baby out or the pram will tip from being out balanced.
Dina without makeup !!! Girl you crAzyyyyyyy you look perfect with and without👌🏼 these vlogs are so much fun I hate when they end 😘😩 anyway love you choooooo !
You should try singing a Islamic lullaby called hush (or something) by zain bikha it's easy to learn and nice and calm it might help to get Hana banana to sleep In Shaa Allah. You are doing really well Ma Shaa Allah! don't worry! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
+Sabah Rahil Thats a good idea! Also, you should try reading Ayat Ul Kursi too- I have done this with my baby and he instantly recognises it and it soothes him like nothing else subhan'Allah Also encourages me to zikr myself all the time. :) x
+Sobia Ahmed very true sister very true well I'm still pregnant my little one is due in March In Shaa Allah I've been playing Surahs on my phone and the baby kicks me sooo much he loves it Alhamdulillah. Can't wait to sing and play and read to him In Shaa Allah.
Congratulations Dina. Just a small tip. I used to sing to my baby either a lullaby or Quran from the start. And when she was 3 months months, it started to calm her down or sometimes put her to sleep. It was really helpful when we needed some time for nappy change or things like that. ☺️
Loved ur volg.maclaren techno x is the best pushchair ever you can literally put like 10 heavy asda bags on the pushchair and still push it.ive had mine forever and it's still going.the best highly recommend.
I am not sure about how you tubers describe no make up face as gross. You are beautiful without makeup why would you promote being natural as gross or sth you need to apologise for? I go out without makeup and these comments make me feel bad and gross. Dina you are amazing.
try rocky Mountain soapworks products. they are 100% natural. the only downside would be shipping from Canada to the UK. I use the baby soap, bum balm, bum spray and powder for my son. they work very good. I am not a fan of Johnson products either
I read your blog! It was really interesting, especially for me who has never had a baby before. I never thought about the whole "fourth trimester" thing
my mom likes to use the Shea Moisture Baby/kid products on my baby brother and they are natural and on the bottle they list the natural ingredients and their properties they also smell really good
At least she's not super strict about it we still get to see the baby ok not her face but the rest of her which is so cute ! Especially when she's being held, so tiny and precious lol
Tbh I don't see how putting her on RU-vid is any different from regular parents that show their baby's pics to other people. What's going to happen if she puts Hanna's face on RU-vid? Nothing I reckon.
+Shady Tyrell I guess it's because dina is a public figure and people recognise her on the street etc so if she films her daughter through out her growing up etc then people will also recognise her daughter outside and when she's at school and it may or may not impact her negatively she may not find it comfortable so really about privacy and giving her daughter the choice etc maybe that's why
Hi Dina! you asked about baby products....my own experience is Johnson and Johnson caused onset of psoriasis (there was already a family history). now only use e45 and other products made for the very most sensitive skin. but this experience makes me think only the most sensitive products will do. I personally wouldn't trust Burt's bees or Johnson and Johnson. I loved your blog article. I think you put your experience into words well. but you're right, you sometimes don't always see what people say about an experience until you're in it. I write about my experience with grief. but before this year, I would have never have read any articles about grief. Enjoy these days and the memories you are making!
thanks for sharing! please do a video on your current experience and baby blue and how you and your family deal with the baby and the impact of its coming? take care. may God help you
+Tina Shah Actually its not a fard its a sunna ... you dont have to keep mentioning it as if their sinning for not cutting their babies hair ... your kinda being nosy
My sister used to work at mothercare and she says the best ones are 1. Bugaboo buffalo 2. Bugaboo chameleon 3 3. iCandy peach (can double up for addition child) 4. Silver cross surf 5. Cosatto über Hope this helps
Great to see you Dina :-) hearing you about the baby blues, it isn't much talked about, and becoming a mama is such a big thing to get your head around. I think you're amazing for making a video so soon after! Love Uncle Hassan! :-) Go easy on yourself mama Dina xxx
Child's Farm hair & body wash 2 in 1 is fab - use it on my nephew since he was practically a newborn and he had extreme dry skin and eczema!!! Available from Boots, has a red lid & is over 98% organic 😋
Hi Dina, Congratulations with becoming a mother by the way! I have never been one to 'follow' any vloggers but I really do love your videos. You mentioned something about your diet whilst pregnant making the labor easier. Can you expand on that? Thank you :) Wasalaam.
Best thing when it comes to bathing is to just use water, if you want you can add a few drops of olive oil and don't bath her every day, twice a week is perfectly fine, just clean her neck and spots like that everyday and you should be fine. What I do is i put a bit of coconut oil into my girls hair after the bathing and maybe on some dry skin areas.
Hey Dina !!! It's good to see ya again! I have been reading your Post on your blog. was very interesting as a student who is not married yet and still on studies for more few years. It did afraid me a little bite to be honest. Take care!! :-) Love From FRANCE.
congratulations on your baby girl mashallah your perfect family now plus your so funny lol crumbs on hanna . your doing great make sure you both get some rest x
dina i know what you mean when you say its difficult to explain the baby blues. i actually feel likee crying when i think of those days. Just remember the firat5few weeks are super hectic so it doesn't help. you are getting along so well though alhamdulillah. lots of love from south africa
try asda nappies they are the best 3 pack for 12£ each pack has 70 nappies. try normal little angel nappies and ther comfy dry or somethibg in blue back.
salaam honey! i know u mentioned nursing in public, you have to get a nursing cover (thats what i use). it looks like a big apron thingy that hangs over your neck and has a loop so you can see that baby's face enshallah. everyone makes them. uttercovers, bobby, etc. sometimes i will be shopping outside w the baby in the baby carrier, walking or sitting, and just pop that cover on top! very useful!
