You should run a cowl. Without one, you risk water getting into the plugs and injectors

I would sell it and get a 335d, n54 is not a good daily especially if you don’t know about it.

@@darksilencer7574get new turbos, injectors, high pressure fuel pump, vaccum lines, vanos solenoids, water pump, thermostat, chargepipe, all new coolant pipes/lines, new valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, oil filter housing gasket, rear main seal, front main seal, serpentine belt guard to keep your engine from sucking in the belt and comitting suicide, and a couple other things and you should be alright. Not much to it.

Take it from me, look up absolutely everything you can via RU-vid and bimmer post, et al, and save the videos or forum posts to your phone; that way you can always go directly to the content that you are researching and get to business. Do it yourself and make it fun to learn everything you can and don't allow that interest to stop. MAINTENANCE! DO YOUR MAINTENANCE! CHANGE/FLUSH ALL OF YOUR FLUIDS. DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING YOURSELF; ESPECIALLY IF YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE WORK ON HER TOO. UPGRADE ALL PLASTIC PARTS TO BILLET ALUMINUM OR WHATNOT. GOOD LUCK!

@@darksilencer7574lol you’ll be fine mfs be making it seem like they the worse just look out for all the gasket’s, thermostat , water pump, some coolant hoses n a cfs radiator don’t tune the car till u do those lol
