I LOVE your video ❤ Your Dove in the mirror is hilarious and has quite the chuckle. Love your set up, looks very pretty and inviting to your feathered friends. Even my cat enjoyed watching! Thanks for sharing!
😅 you may be right then again, i think when they can't see each other, they miss each other. i had Julie and Maya downstairs when we just moved and the other ones upstairs and it just wasn't the same. Maya and Julie also got very quiet. I changed my mind about having them downstairs and moved them upstairs again. It was a total change and they were so much happier.
Did you know that when lots of steam is coming out of the homes central heating system, you can turn down the flow on the heater, so the energy recycles and not so much energy is wasted. When you see no steam, the system is working optimally.
Not sure if that is possible here in Belgium? They really just want us to be cold here ... if you look at the price and huge profits they are making. Belgium does not care about the people.
The info about the cages is in the description in every video below 🙂. Have no clue about sizes only centimeters... So i'm not sure what to tell you about that sorry!
I have enjoyed watching your video with your little dove friends. They ate delightful. I have a sweet white wing dove. Her name is “Sam”. I found her in my garden last year - a tiny chick with no feathers. She is the dearest little pet. This past week I noticed she has begin losing the feathers around the top snd above her beak and her appetite is not good this week. Today she started sneezing. We do not have an aviary vet here. I have read and studied and watched many videos on sick birds. There is nothing on treatment. Have you had experience with sick doves? What do you recommend for my baby? Thank you for your time and attention.
hey, how high maintenance are ring neck doves, i probably wont be able to get one from where i live, but mostly curious if theres ever a time in the future!
I think they are way easier than parrots (i have had different kinds of parrots). Also more gentle and not high maintenance at all. Hopefully you'll get the chance to have one sometime!
@@Lifewithdoves you could do that too.let's take a tray of food and start feeding birds 🐦 in your garden or balcony.if you live in the apartment,we can feed them at the balcony like this guy
All my doves have been bred inside of a bird aviary that my son bought me 6 foot tall 6 foot wide for Mother’s Day these are all pet dogs but they have recently had more babies and I was talking to a funeral director today about the dogs and the people that used to supply their doves for them I was two different gentleman and they don’t have them anymore and I am the only one that’s got them around where I live out in New Orleans so that’s why I’m asking these questions and I’m kind of afraid because these birds are really tame and Dave never survived outside of this aviary I can handle them I can open the cage they do not fly out they used to be inside birds I had them in a parrot cage but since they have multiplied by had to get my son to build me an aviary for outside so they obviously cannot and don’t know how to fend for themselves as far as food and predators as far as are the birds and stuff in here in New Orleans we have those things called eaglets and crows lots of crows and not only that if they land on the ground there’s cats etc. etc. and I live in a very nice area but that doesn’t matter stray cats or everywhere in the United States and even pet cats a lot of owners let them stay outside and then bring them in at night
I would actually never dare to use my doves for weddings. I'm too attached .... I think here they teach them and it's only a certain kind of dove or pigeon that they use at weddings.
I rescued a dove it was not fully grown , it has been a week now , i have kept the bird in a cage and it is doing well. I let it out of the cage everyday aswell. I don't know if I should keep it or release it back . The bird has grown comfortable to the cage after staying in the room for a while she goes by in the cage without my efforts . Can doves survive alone ? Or should I get another bird to keep her company in the cage ? Please help me with this .
I had my Skippy 4 years just with me. If the dove is not alone too much i guess it would be okay. Doves do not get along always so getting another one is always a struggle. But they can be very tame and the best friends! Are you home a lot?
Both are actually from brand 'savic' i'm from Belgium i'm not sure they only have these in Europe. But these are great. The biggest one with top and bottom part is actually a chinchilla cage but i've adapted it a bit.
Hi how can I Identify my young Doves from the adults because they all look the same and I use them for rentals like for weddings etc. funerals and for the ones that are being released I want to make sure that I don’t accidentally grab the parents or the meeting pairs so how would I do this
I have no clue to be honest i only have 6 and they are all so different. I'm sure they have different personalities though. But that probably doesn't help much.
hi, can i ask where you got your cage? or even what cages you would recommend? we're moving so we'll have more space soon and i just wanna get a cage that's bigger than the one my pet doves use.
You need to pick out the eggs or you will have babies every month. I rescued 3 ringneck doves. The population quickly grew to 9 and became out of control.
I feel bad for that white one. It looks like it just wants to soend some quiet time with their owner but it's not possible with the noise. Please try to isolate the white one and soend some quality time with him.
I can assure you the white one want to be with her hubby. Certainly not with me. She's tame but not like Skippy. Skippy is the only one who really wants to be with me.
@@Lifewithdoves thank you. But you called some dove "Olivia" which seems to be a male, so I am not sure. But I love how you arranged their room. VEry good.
Hi, i just found a baby Dove today, he can’t fly, not injured or anything, i believe he fell out of his nest, i tried to feed him, but he only eat peanuts. What else i can feed him ?
