Alena S when I noticed my tremor....I took no notice.then I fractured bones my fight wrist december.after the cast came off. it seemed to get worse .physio picked up on areas I was affected. cant write,draw,sew.ive yet to see a Dr ,as still dealing with the wrist.your brother is a beautiful person,and the first video I ever watched.sending him love & hope 💞💕
Kurniawan Phohan Really, go away with these quack medical tips. Many reports have proven that acupuncture is not only useless but can be quite dangerous. The only possibility for it to help is if the practitioner helps you with relaxation which does help ET. You don't need a shaman to learn relaxation techniques.
Daniel, many of us had to diagnose essential tremor on our own as you stated in the vid. Once armed with that knowledge however there is help. You may not respond well to medication although I hope you are trying it. There is deep brain stimulation which is a surgical correction which has shown to be quite helpful. If you haven't talked to a neurologist please do so and keep us posted. There are a lot of us out there.

Daniel, I came across your video through a search. I was recently diagnosed with tremors after being misdiagnosed and thinking I had blood sugar problems for years. You're an inspiration, and it's amazing to see that you can keep that smile. You're a strong man, and it's amazing that you were able to open up and talk about this. I wish more people were aware of tremors, it would save a lot of people a lot of embarrassment. Keep that bright smile shining, you're a beautiful person.

My Mum has this condition, and she copes pretty well bless her. If she's really stressed the condition worsens dramatically. I think you're very brave doing this video, and educating people about Essential Tremor. Take care dude, and live well ;)

Daniel, you are amazing! I have had essential tremor for as long as I can remember but mine got really bad at around 1 as well. I was diagnosed at 14. Now I ma 29 and though it's getting harder for me to do the things I love like write and draw, seeing incredible people like you being so positive makes me feel better too. Also the fact you taught yourself to write with your left hand is just all round amazing!! Keep being positive, I wish you all the best!
Hi Daniel, I am 58 and have essential tremor that began when I was a teenager. I have been through times when it was much worse than it happens to be right now, but never the severity that you display... you are an inspiration for your faith and positivity, making me count my blessings and stop feeling so put upon for having this crap... it has stopped me from doing a lot of things because I got so self conscious about it and that fear would make it much worse, so my head would shake and I would be too afraid to do the things I wanted to do. L. What I meant by slight is that I too have shaky hands but they don’t shake alot like it can be noticed but isnt very bad I even workout and perform my daily tasks without any problem but when I have to be precise example holding a cup of tea my hands do shiver

I was diagnosed with Essential Tremors at first then after further testing I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease with Dementia. I’ve been on the edge of suicide too but the Lord Jesus Christ brought me through every time. You are an amazing young man. I love your humor! God bless you✝️
I was diagnosed with et this year. You have it worse then I do but your joy 🤩 is outstanding. God is the only way. It’s scary when it’s through your whole body. There’s sometimes I can’t do simple things. Which really sucks but I’ll have to get use to it.
Yes God is the only way I was able to cope with this He is the only one who gives me joy! One piece of advice I would give is not to be so hard on yourself

Daniel, you are an inspiration!!! I started having slight tremors in my teens. A DR described it with an older general description. Later in life my shaking in the hands got worse and I started experiencing shaking in my core. Next, I started having one of my legs spaz out while I walked. I finally went to the DR and was diagnosed with Essential Tremor.I feel better just knowing what is going on with my body but when I'm having a bad day, I watch your videos. Thank you!

have had essential tremor in my neck and occasionally hands for the past two years. It was super embarrassing if I was talking to someone and my head started to do the no no movement quite intensely, there was nothing I could do to stop it and would get so much worse the more I tried to deal with it. I was prescribed drugs to combat it bit they didn't work really. I knew this had been bought on by anxiety problems so I began to deal with that on its own. I read a lot about tremors and the thought of this getting worse genuinely made me extremely depressed. I had the tremors EVERY DAY, even if I wasn't feeling anxious about anything, but then some days they wouldn't happen, why was this!?!? I really don't want to jinx this but in the last two months or so I have had no tremor. ITS DISAPPEARED! I hope this gives other people with essential tremor some hope, they tell us it cant be cured, so why has mine disappeared ? Who knows.
Thanks for posting this video. Thanks for your positivism and smile. I'm 54 y-o and my tremors are about 1/10 as yours. My brother's tremors are about 1/2 as strong as yours. They can be annoying but it's a burden I am willing to bear because others have worse conditions. Hugs! 8-)

Also have been suffering with these tremors. pouring a bowl of cereal, having a cup of coffee, and yes even writing my name. I've recently heard of treatment for this affliction using focused ultrasound waves that I do believe has worked in many patients with essential tremor. Danik, I have a mild case of essential Tremor, and what helps is to take the natural herb, Valerian Root capsules. One in the morning and one at night. It is very inexpensive and does help. Was here feeling sorry for myself. I have essential tremors and they get pretty unmanageable. But you sir, are my new inspiration. I'd say I have about 25% of what you have but I can relax myself enough 90% of the time enough so people can't tell. And it's incredibly hard to live with. You are a god. Keep smiling 👌👌👌

Please try gluten free diet and paleo diet as it has cured many people off essential tremor and other movement disorders. If you google "gluten free diet cures tremors" you will find many testimonials from tremor patients who are now leading a completely tremor free life.
You are awesome. in 32 and Wednesday they told me my diagnosis to. I was shocked they found a brain so told them now they know in going to Shake rattle and role for the rest of my life and dance my own dance. Thank you for sharing. I'm 20 and was just diagnosed with essential tremor last month. I feel so lost looking for resources. I'm in the essential tremors group on Facebook and everyone is kind. Hard to find those in my age group that also have ET. You have such a great outlook on life. I have had tremors since the age of 16 and just lived with it. I am now 44 years old and have been diagnosed with essential tremor. The disease has progressed quickly in the last 2 years. I now have torso, leg and head tremors. I am angry allot especially since loosing my job because of this. I fell at work and injured myself pretty bad. I am not sure how well I can handle loosing my ability to fend for myself. I am glad you have found your faith and are living happy and well. I am still finding my way and faith is helping.

I am an artist and cannot draw a straight line anymore so...I started abstract painting. I too, believe in God and I pray everyday for him to give me strength. Hello Daniel, My name is And, I`m 64yrs old now and, I was diagnosed with Essential Tremor along with Kleinefelter Syndrome when I was 14yrs old. My tremor was like yours when I was your age and, at that time, I was working with dangerous Cutting Equipment in Clothing Factories ( Fully qualified Cutter now ) so, its not debilitating enough to not work. I`ve been on all the meds you can think of to try to control it but, to be honest, its best to try to live without anything. They tend to make things worse. As the yrs go by, you`ll probably notice its gets less and, less. I`m nowhere near as bad as you are now. I wish you well Daniel and, I will pray for you too.

Hi Daniel. Im an occupational therapist and your story is very inspiring. I work with a kid with essential tremor and I found a spoon called the Liftware spoon. It registers the pattern of your tremors and will move in the opposing direction of your movement to stabilize the spoon.
Wow I respect you so so much for uploading this I have ET inherited from my mum and her great grandmum it affects my hands very badly it is so embarrassing everyone notices and it makes day to day tasks so hard everyone always asking if I'm okay respect to you thanks for uploading

I just thought you were really courageous for putting this out there to help educate and gain awareness. I havent read thru the comments below and am sure you're aware of DBS - but I am sure you'd be a prime candidate and you should research it if you haven't (Deep Brain Stimulation).

My Dad had essential tremors and he struggled with it for a very long time but he also tried his best to bring awareness about this disease so Thanks for sharing your story. The harder he would concentrate on doing a task the more he would shake at first we thought he had Parkinson's disease, but eventually we found the correct diagnosis of essential tremors years later he also ended up, developing myasthenia gravis, that eventually took his life.

Mr. Boogie I've had ET since I was born too. It's one of the worst things that have happened to me, I'm thinking of not having children at all for the fear that I might pass this horrible disorder on to them.
I have literally just come from the doctors and have been diagnosed with mild Essential Tremor. I am 21 years old and for years have always just believed that I was super nervous and shy. I knew I really never felt this way but people always told me this was the case and I believed them. Some days I wake up shaking and others I don't, I never really know when it will start. You are an inspiration and I hope some day they find a cure... for now I almost feel relieved that I know what is going on with me!
God bless you for sharing your story. I have essential tremors as well... I can still do a lot, but my hands do have a slight shake and get worse if I have too much caffeine and not enough sleep. For years I struggled with it thinking I might just be nervous all the time. Even though I wasn't nervous. I would have people point out I'm shaking or ask me why I'm shaking and I had no clue what was wrong. I had no idea there were other people out there who struggle with the same problem I had till I started do research and let my doctor know what was going on. I've been laughed at and talked about because of this. A lot of people don't even know Essential tremor exists. I pray God can heal us all with this. God bless you again!!!
