Great review! I have always been an android user and surprisingly have a Pixel 2 that I still love using cuz it's a great phone. Nice to see the that you are exploring the android world now. Waiting to see your review of Samsung S23 Ultra!
I've been using Optic fingerprint scanners for years and never did they shine a bright light in my face.. don't you guys cover the sensor with your finger in the first place?
@@thezainmirza bro it’s accurate and works just fine, just turn up the speed of your animations. You could literally do no transition from dev options and could speed it up.
I hope the Pixel 8 Pro could fix all the durability issues, like how easily scratchable the Pixel 7 Pro's camera bump is. Also, I'm hoping the Pixel 8 series will be the first to be available worldwide, officially. Says a Malaysian Samsung user.
Yh I agree with the camera needing to be more durable, but honestly samsung may have done it best this year. Look out for s23 ultra review coming soon.
I love my pixel 7 pro but battery was a major issue to me coming from a 13 pro max. That’s why I returned to my iPhone. Still prefer my pixel tho, just can’t get past the battery issue 😢
Good video, job well done. But if you would allow me, I heavily disagree with your argument that the user would benefit more from the Pixel having a Snapdragon. That would completely kill the purpose of the Pixel and how it works for many tasks, which is machine learning. That is where the Tensor chip shines and outdoes all others. In raw performance, it lags well behind the Snapdragon and even the Exynos, but in real world usage, no one can tell the difference for the most part. Other than gaming and video or image processing, a smartphone does not really use all of its power anyway. Google's Tensor is a great chip for every day usage and even better for machine learning, is my point. And voice recognition. Basically any task that is not based on raw power output. Also, maybe surprisingly so, Google does not make the Tensor chip. They designed it, but it is made by Samsung.
That's a really interesting point of view I didn't think of and makes sense however it would be great if Google could get their chips to be a little more powerful, especially for an 800 dollar phone. It's kind of like apple improving their display technology even though the panel is made by Samsung.👍
It has to run at max clock speed almost all the time or the phone would be almost unusable. People keep saying it’s not about benchmarks but it’s literally slower then phone’s going on 4 years old. My old ass 7T has about the same benchmarks. If they wanted to “save money” they should have just used an SD gen1
@@thezainmirza Oh yeah it really is a clean phone. I found one thing I don't like about the phone. Which is the glass back. It's very slippery in the hand. You definitely need a case for it. Other than that it's a phenomenal! Phone.
@@RagingBad I actually get a whole day and a half of battery life. So the battery life doesn't bother me at all. I just make sure I charge up my phone to full capacity before I leave out the house.
Did you mention that the pixel 7 pro is £750 the pro max is £1200 ? That has to be a huge focus when trying to compare.. I got mine with a £100 trade in from a 4 year old cracked phone, @ £650 its not far of the iPhone SE ; ) # Bang for your buck
I've been using the pixel 7 since 2 weeks and I can say that pixel 7 is actually the iPhone of Android! It doesn't talk about specs but it talks about experience. Experience is amazing on this one. I was using Mi 11 ultra previously and that's an amazing phone. But the UI experience and lightweight phone is something that made me buy this and I'm happy with this with everything except with the charging speeds and fingerprint sensor
Its really honestly not , iv actually got it so know this for a fact. lots of reviews giving 7 hours or more screen on time and i can tell you this is true. not as as good as the £400 more expensive 14 pro max or S23 ultra but not horrific at all
I really don't understand you tech people 🤦🏾♂️ like why would you be so hype to unlock your phone with wet hands lol I never touch my phone with wet hands at least I try not to
The Tensor G2 is co-developed by Google and Samsung's System LSI arm, while the fabrication is done by Samsung Foundry., but then interestingly TSMC will reportedly manufacture the majority of Qualcomm's next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets for Samsung phones just like they do for Apple !
