You stepped over the line. It will be hard to stay out of the ecosystem. I am a game dev that moved completely over and it's nice to not have to fight the OS, and the hardware, to get work done. Microsoft needs to change things.
@@therinwhitten Nah this is as far as I'd go. Definitely will never have an iPhone or Apple watch. Besides the Macbook the only other Apple products I like are Air Tags, which I have 4 of, and the original Homepod. The ecosystem is nice but nothing that would convince me to go fully over.
You'll probably still have the MacBook in a decade cuz it's just that good. My m1 is still solid. In that time you'll probably get one or two more devices 😅. The iPad with the pencil was my first venture into the apple ecosystem, and as an artist, it's the best portable drawing tablet ever.
I think so and whenever I'm ready to upgrade, either to a newer Macbook or another device, this M3 Macbook will hold it's value and be worth a decent amount for trade in. I know for sure I'll never switch over to an iPhone or iPad. My wife has an iPhone and my work phone is an iPhone and I can't stand using them. I do like Apple's Homepod and I have 4 Air Tags. With Apple using other iPhone's to ping the Air Tags it is definitely the most useful tracking devices on the market!
