When I was 13 from Ukraine I prayed to Jesus that I could get a family even though I was the worse child in the whole orphanage and no one wanted me but after 30 days of praying every night some family from america came and adopted me and they loved Jesus and now I’m for ever changed and I go above a beyond telling people of Jesus and how great he is and what he done in my life !
I'm a birth mom x 2. The two hardest decisions I've ever made in my life. Zero support after break up's both times, 1st at 17 with my high school sweetheart and 2nd at 20 with my fiancé. I was so scared, but all I had to give at that time, was a huge amount of love for my babies. After checking every avenue of support, I knew that they would have their best life with families that were ready, waiting, and able. With lots of tears and prayers I sent my babies off to their new parents. Both of them (boy and girl) are grown, and had wonderful lives. They are beautiful and happy, with children of their own. And miracle of miracles they love me too! I raised a boy and a girl with my husband and since we found my daughter 6 years ago, ALL of the siblings are in each others lives, supporting, facilitating/attending weddings, and attend a once a year family gathering! Some of us are now sharing at various events as people have heard our story. All I can say is that God used all the decisions, pain, tears and shame and turned it into a beautiful life for us all! I can't express how grateful I am. So many tears during the trailer, I can't wait to see this movie!
As someone who has been adopted, thank you. Thank you for not aborting them, thank you for doing what was best for them at the time. I'm sure it wasn't easy. My bio mother put me up for adoption because we would've been living on the streets. I'm so grateful that y'all are on good terms. My bio mother and I aren't. I screwed things up with her and I can't seem to be able to fix it. But I'm glad things have worked out for you 🤗.
Thank you, Lisa. I saw most of the movie and am also a birthmom of 1 son, who, like David in the movie, will be 19 in a couple of months. I am going to watch again with my husband..... and am seeking the Lord's leading as to when and how to reach out to my son, something I hadn't considered until watching the trailer. I have an idea, as there is a concert wherein Chris Tomlin, whose song How Great is our God, he would sing under Holy Spirit anointing when he was only 3, before I relinquished my parental rights in 2008, coming to town in November.... enjoy the movie and be inspired and encouraged and validated, Lisa and every birthmom.
@@WolfLove89 Thanks so much for sharing! Our connections have been good (not perfect - of course). I'm sorry about you and your bio mom. I always figure, even when we've screwed up, if we can own it (like you have) God can make a way (even when it looks impossible) for things to be restored. Again, really appreciate you reaching out, and I wish you the best!
@@slawing9757 Thanks for reaching out! I saw the movie last night with the my birth sons mother and her daughter! Wow - the flood of emotions as you watch both sides of the adoption story, and as we remembered those days for both of us! Hope your husband is blessed by the movie, and that your upcoming connection is blessed. Thank you again for sharing your story and the encouragement!
wake up there is no god. religion is designed for the weak who cant think for themselves. make decisions on your own not what a pastor tells you too. god and satan are the same bith imaginary.
I wish they all turned out like you. My sister was adopted at birth and I think she feels like she doesn't fit in our family and she doesn't feel like she fits in her birth family. She just kind of feels a little lost. Thankfully she loves us dearly but I feel sad for her. One day, I pray God saves her soul. Maybe then it would all make sense to her. 😢
I was adopted too, into a Christian family. My adoption story is crazy. My bio mother at first didn't want anything to do with a Christian family. I was taken in by a non-Christian family on a Friday, they returned me the following Monday. My parents are missionaries, my mom had had 5 miscarriages. Same day they were praying about adopting was the same day their friend, who worked at an adoption agency was mailing them an application, same day I was being conceived
I was adopted as well. Even though I was not happy with it, my mother, who adopted me, said that when I was shown at her home, she knew I was the one for her and she knew God was telling her to adopt me. After watching this inspiring real-life movie, this made me tear up. I AM a gift from God and I will always remain a gift from God.
I just got back from watching this film at the movies.. Another GREAT MOVIE by the Kendrick Brothers... Good job the cast and Crew.. It was good to see Kirk Cameron again.. Looking forward to their next movie... Keep up the good word and God Bless
We just left from the movies me and my wife. This was a great movie we recommend it for the whole body of CHRIST to check it out. Its encouraging and very inspiring
I got to meet my birth mom…and biological grandpa, aunts, cousins, and sisters… It really helped me to see how many similarities we have like even things that make us laugh. It felt easy to interact with my biological family, like they just get the reason I am the way I am & I’m similar to them in aspects but I can see why GOD had another family planned for me to live and grow up in and learn to relate to people who aren’t like me but love me so much. I’m doubly blessed… 🙌🏻 🥰 Also wanna say that both you genes & the way you’re raised are important in your personality & development… Some people have the Nature (genes) Vs Nurture debate but I’ve seen that both are important.

Adopted 56 years ago at birth first thing I said to my birth mother was thank you could not watch this trailer and not tear up 30 seconds in and I'm one that don't get emotional THANKS AGAIN MOM AND REST IN PEACE
@@CHotell96 They are actually credited as executive producers, writers and editor on this project. Either way, just seeing their logo at the start of any trailer is enough to get us pretty excited! 😁
This movie was AMAZING!! I loved every minute of it! My mom was adopted from Brazil when she was 16. Her adoptive parents wanted to adopt after losing twin boys. My mom’s birth mother found her when she was 26. Turns out her mom had lost her, but never stopped looking for her. She hired investigators and found her in America! She was terrified that my mom would hate her, but my mom was so thankful and now I have a huge family in Brazil! I’m so blessed!
Looks like a fantastic film. Brought tears to my eyes watching the trailer. (There are things in my past that I can relate to this film. I love working on Christian Films. God is very important to me and being a part of Faithbased films is my favorite films to work on.
I'm thankful as well, but as an adoptee who only discovered his adoption late in life and has reunited with his birth Mom ... there is trauma for both the birth Mom and the child (that can be overcome if *everyone* is aware of it's existence). SO important for adoptive parents to be aware of it.
Loved seeing this movie! So Many similarities to my life. I always knew I was adopted. If I ever met my birth mother, I have always said that I would just tell her “Thank you”!
My husband is adopted. His biological mother wanted to abort him, as she'd aborted in the past. A doctor said she was too far along. My mother-in-law worked as a maternity nurse. She and my father-in-law were already approved for adoption. She was surprised when she was told she could take my husband home, he was a tiny newborn born in the maternity ward where she worked. Now my husband and I have 3 wonderful children who wouldn't be here without his life having been spared! I'm so very grateful to our Lord for this! My husband never wanted to know about his biological parents. I'm somewhat curious though.
@@kbanghart Read in proverbs the 7 things God hates. God doesn’t love hands that shed innocent blood. He is love and He is Faithful to forgive. Do we love Him to repent and keep our heart before Him loving the things He loves and hating the things He hates being bold enough to tell others the truth as God commands us to do. If you love Me Jesus says keep my commands. God healed and delivered me of ppl pleasing long ago. The Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. We can’t love ppl rightly if we are not keeping Gods command to Love Him first with all our heart mind soul and strength. God is Love We are not. We fall way short of His Glory. It’s only because of the choice Jesus made to lay His life down for us do we have the opportunity to know love that is not of this world. Love that suffered for our sins. He did His part for us. The finished work on the cross. We have free will to choose life or death. Jesus says to deny self take up your cross and follow Him. A woman is choosing to either keep Gods commands and love and protect the innocent or she is choosing to take life…. to kill what is ultimately Gods. God made us we didn’t make Him. He knitted us together in our Mothers womb and He gave woman their wombs… what a gift we shouldn’t take lightly… but sadly we so easily do… His Mercy and Grace on us blows me away. We are so not deserving and yet He is Faithful when we are Faithless. In Jesus we have life.. if we don’t repent and we reject Gods Son we choose death and eternal separation from God. He doesn’t want robots He wants our hearts. We all get the same choice life or death. Heaven or Hell. Like my Mom use to say… you have to kill it to get rid of it. I’m here today because she protected me in her womb when she was being pressured to get rid of me. Thank you Mom and thank you Jesus that you are Life and there is no dark thing in you. Choose life. God is perfect Love and perfectly Just. Find out why He hated Esau. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. Romans 9:13 God is Love but do we love Him? Do we love what He loves and hate what He hates. Light and dark have no business with one another. Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Revelation 3:16
I am adopted…..I am so glad my birth mother made the hard choice to place me…..I can only imagine how hard that was. God was truly with me and blessed my life with such loving parents!
LOVED this movie.....even though I cried most of the way through. My husband is adopted......and at 50+ yrs old, has never met his birth parents. We have two children of our own. I can't help but think how my life would be different had his birth mother not made the decision to give him up for adoption so he could have the parents who raised him. It was also good to see the theatre FULL of parents, teenagers, and I would suspect what was several church youth groups. Knowing what they are being taught in public schools now, THIS is a perspective they need to see! I highly recommend this movie!
makes you realize how low and gross people who support abortion really are, true evil, should not be accepted anywhere, worse than slavery ,its the worship of death for profit
The best movie I've seen in years. Thanks for making this. It's such a powerful movie. 🙏👏❤️ I got an abortion when I was younger. After I had two children. I regret it and think of my baby every day. I wish I had never done it. I believe I was 6 to 8 weeks. I had never truly healed from knowing what I did. I thank you for making this movie. 🙏 it will save alot of lives. Both parent and child. ❤️
I had 5 kids by 28 years old. Married at 21 to the only women I have ever been with. We lost our youngest. I’ll be 33 in two days. The lord is so good. I have nothing but adoration and thanks giving for him.
I hated my name as a child. Then my adopted mother told me it was her favorite girl name. What was amazing she said. You can with her name. " In that moment it was a confirmation that your where meant to be my daughter."
I can't wait to see this movie! The Kendrick brothers make such inspirational movies and I'm super excited to see it! A wonderful story of how God's Hand is in each of our stories! 🙏🙂
Just read an article about how the Hollywood studios don't want to release this film because they're all afraid of backlash in the wake of the decision overturning Roe v Wade, even though this movie isn't about abortion. Knowing what I know about the movies Kirk Cameron and Alex Kendrick are making (I think I've seen all of them), I KNOW this will be a great movie. I hope they find an outlet to get it out there for people to enjoy. I know I'll be looking for it!
How interesting to see Becky Rogers, a gal who grew up with my siblings and I in our hometown of Crozet, VA, acting in this! Her mother was one of seven Christian women, including my mom, who started a second-hand thrift shop called The Olive Tree that has helped many people and many organizations in Crozet and beyond, over forty years ago. One of the many benefactors of The Olive Tree has been The Pregnancy Centers of Central VA.
I believe the throw that David uses from the turtle position in his wrestling match is a variation of the Judo Outer-Winding Throw / Sode-Makikomi. In the Ultimate Fighting Championship II, Remco Pardoel uses a near-textbook version of Sode-Makikomi on Orlando Wiet. The textbook Sode-Makikomi is applied standing up, but there is a version of Sode-Makikomi executed from the turtle position also.
I'm adopted and it is a bad experience. My older brother never liked me. And I can't blame him either. He went from 11 yr old only child to being ignored because there was now a 2 yr old in the house. Not good not to be loved.
I am sorry your older brother felt that way. I am sure that your parents didn't ignore him. Any time there is a new child in a home this happens, but it usually evens out. Please remember that this is his problem though, not yours. You were loved. You are loved. He is loved too. Many children go from being the only child to not the only child. The only difference is you were adopted. If your parents had been able to have you, and not adopted you, your older brother still would have felt that way. Being adopted didn't make the difference.
I have a story very similar to this... except I was 14 when I had my son & gave him up for adoption. PTL, we got to meet again. But sadly, he is unsaved & angry at God & has a lot of animosity against Christians, I assume due the hand in life that he was dealt. He was raised by a Catholic Mother & an Atheistic Father. 😭 Please pray for him! 🙏 I'm looking forward to seeing this movie.
@@kbanghart Because he told me he does not believe the bible, nor believes God is knowable, and has told me he does not believe Jesus was real or rose from the dead if He is real. He also mocks God, mocks Jesus & mocks Christians.... and blames everything bad in the world on God. ☹
Can't wait to see the movie! God bless the moms who give their babies up for adoption because so many couples are unable to have children & adoption is so wonderful!
Kirk Cameron is a great actor Among others as well in this film. I love family values and truth to the way our world really should behave. Life is difficult and therefore life needs a second chance to continue in hard times. No one is perfect but with more movies like this helps humanity see that other options are available and not take an easy way out that can cause much more damage that can scar one even more. Looking forward to seeing this movie. Thank you Kirk for being true to humanity ✌️
This is such a good movie! See it before it’s gone!! So good! So powerful. Every American (and human) needs to see this movie. So grateful to have been able to experience & support this inspiring, heartwarming, thought-provoking & above all - Godly story & film. Thank you to Kirk Cameron, the Kendrick brothers & entire cast. May God bless them all abundantly above & beyond. #LifeMark #prolife #adoptionislove
