And when AC220V fails, clock stops.... therefore... not lifetime...

Don't do that ! This is dangereous ! Mains aren't isolated, the output voltage varies in function of the load, there's no current limiter to the Led except the Led itself. It can work for a while but not for more than a few minutes and it will surely destroy the Led, the two capacitors and the clock as well. This is a lose/lose solution to replace a battery you'll change every 10 years !

Why you haven't shown how it is functioning since it involves lethel voltage conversion and it's not isolated one chances of getting shock by the people who try it.

Better use a 18650 from scratch with BMS and LM317 to stabilize 1,5V. No shock. Valid for curiosity.

If you cannot afford a cell, then you definitely don't have a clock. So there is no need for this circuit. Hurray! * Very stupid * Very dangerous * High ampere will burn the chip * No Isolation * No frequency filter . The clock pcb track will get burnt! Best is ordinary low power 1.5 volt battery. Never use other batteries like alkaline based battery. In my experience clock pcb track foil getting etched-out. Even a weak battery runs the clock but leaks and spoils further. The circuit is understandable as a study.

Any Mobile 📱 Charger + step down DC to DC converter module from 5 to 1 volts it will be safer.. no need to be to much "smart"..

Courting danger in the wrong hands! Just replace the exhausted 1.5V cell with fresh alkaline unit that may last about one year. 🤔

Are Brother? Clock ki sath uski Malik ko vi marowane wala dhanda ! eske output current 1.78 a raha hai! uo to thik hai lekin out put me full volume ke sath current a Raha hai? Toch nohi kiya jata hai ,our dushra bat ea circuit clock me laga dene se turant ghari ki andar ki circuit kharab ho jayega? Up kuchh ish bare mein kya samadhan hai batayen to achha hoga. Good presentation but ,Will not work when power failure , what happens if wire ,1.5 vdc rechargable cell , parallel to DC output if we are getting 1.5 output , output voltage and current not measured that is anather point, don't try this

High current flow . No zener or any regulator. Clock does not need so much current . It may fry it sometime later😂

It's very dangerous. This chopped power supply don't have any protection against high voltage. When input will increase to a dangerous level automatically output at the end will get increased results in shorting the Led & ultimately to the clock module. Not advisable to take the risk.

A crazy circuit for suicide people. Not even a fuse to avoid fire, two on both lines would be better, but even better would be use a battery, it last for one year and more, so you just have to change it in a fixed day of the year, whatever you decide. Lethal voltages with no ever current limiting resistor, see red LIVE line, what happens if the capacitor is going to be a short circuit ? ( it can happen ... ). And finally, if there is a missing voltage from the mains, the clock stops, and then restarts with the delay of the fault itself ... and you have to re-adjust the clock at your risk ...

जिसके यहां लाइट ज्यादा जाती हो तो वो टाइम से आफिस जा पायेगा या स्कूल जा पायेगा।पिक्चर में 2 चीज थी तो लगा एक बार चार्ज कर दो घड़ी चलती रहेगी लेकिन बेवकूफ बना दिया
