The Martin show should be compared to the Ricky and Lucy show " I LOVE LUCY " . The Martin show should be honored and acknowledge and recognized as a top rated comedy show of all time.
Pam and Gina are two legendary black women. Open minded and perfect for the show. I hate that they gave them such a hard time financially when they were amazing. Nobody has time for Hollywood -_- as an actress finishing up to these women and their technique abilities i grew up with. Tisha worked hard and she cared a lot beautifully and she deserved so much more. Female triple threat and i feel at this time she could have had her own show. Her and Pam and it would have been popping

Back then, the last season she couldn’t do a scene with Martin. I wonder what really happened? Did Dwayne force her to stop doing scenes with Martin. Because when they were going to reboot the Martin show he threaten to leave her. That’s within marriage fell apart and that’s when she found out all that stuff about the Duane. We need to know the real deal of what happened. Because here she said she’ll never speak a bad word about Martin. He was like a mentor to her. And I hope they do reboot Martin! That was the show!

That is a true. even marrying a woman who looks a lot like her (now Emmitt Smith's Wife, Martin's ex). He made it difficult for her before and after she married Duane, even to the point of embarrassing her on set. Cussing he out in front of the studio audience and her mother. Scenes towards the end of the final seasons where they had to film separately. While on leave from stress, they were contemplating replacing her with Lynn Whitfield. it was a total mess.
May they both have a good life a head of themselves. Sometimes we grow away from each other. So go your separate ways & leave behind much love & remembering the good times together. Most important part of this situation is be mature in all that comes out of the box, co-parent, get along with each other for the children sake, choose your next mate careful. A mate who will accept the kids & get along with the kids & help co-parent & get along with the EX. This above is ALL VERY IMPORTANT. If this does not go down like that, then you stay single until ...😁 Or single forever. You do not have to get married again. Just have a friend. But choose wisely. Relate to all above advise. Just want you to know, Tisha, that you held your own on that show!! I NEVER, I repeat NEVER get tired of watching!! As far as I'm concerned Martin is the best show on TV!! It just goes to show that we only get to see things from one point of view and we never get to see the hell someone goes thru in the background, but you have a consistently running syndicated program to show for it!! I wish you ALL the best!!
I use to love watching The Martin show. He and Gina had very good chemistry, no one can deny that. They probably could not have had a personal relationship outside the show, because their fake chemistry was so great. Something happened, rumor said he approached her in a improper way, but I think it was much deeper than that, because why would someone give up on something so lucrative and successful, right I'm the middle of it? We as woman, know men will approach us, sometimes in uncomfortable ways, but we need to let them know, from the gate what's up. You can't let something like that destroy your future or your coins. Besides she had a husband to get him straight if that were the circumstance. Just wish it could have lasted, us as black people don't have many programs that are funny and positive to relate to, Martin gave us that You loved each character, for who they were, and they were all good. Even their names fit them. But like everything else, it had to end...hate that...I truly enjoyed the show. Much success to them ALL...AND RIP TOMMY..I am sure God has a job, for you in heaven.

Wow, it's ironic that she felt that way when she had a miscarriage. Because I felt the same way when I had mine. I went thru a low period of depression and I just didn't want to live anymore. Some people brush a miscarriage off like it's not traumatic but it can be very emotion for some women.

U know I always wondered did they ever talk and become friends again. I remember Little SHop of Horror, Rags to Riches, etc. There was also a show Tisha did with Morris Day that didn't air long. When her guest spots became more prevalent, I knew they were building her up for a tv show (Fresh Prince, A Different World). If you haven't seen her on A Different World, check out "If I should die before I wake' episode. Her character was dying from AIDS. The episode got so much critical acclaim and positive responses.
this use of 'Best Friend' in the place of spouse/husband-wife etc is stupid. You ask her to be your best friend? Maybe if you were her husband faithfully she would not have been messed up by you...
I remember in 1996, after she left the Martin show, that she left because of "sexual harasment" and their was a lawsuit and because of the lawsuit, she and Martin Lawrence couldn't be in the same room at the same time with the last episode? (Google why she left). I always thought that Duane was jealous of her consistency prosperity with the show (remember All Night was wack with Vivica's wack acting at that time) and Martin Lawrence and Tisha's Chemistry was awesome and Believable on set like Bill Cosby and Phylicia Rashad. Lisa Raye must have talked to Tisha Campbell about Duane by the time this was made.
I think its deeper then that. I think her and Martin had a relationship that was beyond platonic. And when she got marred to Duane she couldn't "give" martin certain things any more due to her vows. Martin couldn't handle the rejection because he's used to getting what he wants from tisha. Also Martin and his marriage were ruined at this point and time. It is at this time Martin was displaying volatile behavior and being manic. I understand tisha not wanting to fool around while your officially married. Duane is not at fault here. And this is coming from a martin fanatic.

Actually, it is true that Martin after she married sexually harassed her. I had a friend that worked for the Production and it was a BIG secret at that time.
