Wow, i read quite a few in the comments saying they didn't like it. Well maybe an aquired taste, to me its delicious. I've been drinking kefir since the early nineties, when i tried it from the neighborhood corner store in Chicago. A little Polish store in the middle of a neighborhood, was the norm in Chicago back in the day, hardly any now. The small polish joint a block away from where I lived is where a lot of folks would stop in for lunch at their deli. When getting my lunch one day, I can't recall if my friend Frank who the Hispanic kids called him Diablo, LoL! He was a cool cucumber that Polish guy, his whole family was nice to me and many in the neighborhood. Can't remember if he told me to try the kefir or I tried it on my own, either way, I tried it and loved it, and been drinking it ever since. I was around 17 years old upon having it for the first time, and I'm 49 now, Wowsers, time flew. Anyway Kefir, even if someone doesn't like it, it's not like nasty or anything, should still drink it for it's health benefits. I don't know if kefir has anything to do with this, but I haven't been sick since then, like no flu's, or colds. The main thing is it's mega healthy for you, and if you love the taste like I do, I guess we'd be the lucky ones. Time to go get my first drink of kefir today, I have the blueberry one now. My favorite hands down is the Strawberry / Banana one, holy smokes is that one delish!!! I'd have that one in my fridge, but unfortunately for me, the store by my house only had two kinds, strawberry, and the blueberry one. I would have to go just a little further out to find a store with a bigger variety of flavors. I recall seeing a piece the nightly news did on the kefir plant, Lifeway. It was close to twenty years ago about when I seen that news snippet. It's a Chicago business run by this ladies family, I mean her parents started Lifeway up, I believe when she graduated college, she then became the new CEO and the company blew up big time. It's definitely something everyone should try, because it's so good, and healthy for you. One out of ten, I give Lifeway a ten hands down. Mmm!!! Delicious!!
Really surprised to see it in the supermarket at home in Montego Bay , Jamaica 🇯🇲 , had the blueberry while visiting my sister and family in Florida , hope it will be available continuously , will be trying other flavors if still available .
i have to admit that, other than my mother's cooking, that Lifeway Kefir is the most delicious thing i have ever tasted in my life. unfortunately for me, however, even its plain flavor has too many carbohydrates in it, which i am trying to avoid, due to my being 150 pounds overweight
I'll tell you that that kefir low-fat blueberry milk is positively nasty. Who would have ever thought somebody would come up with blueberry flavored buttermilk, nasty nasty nasty!
Talk about class-action lawsuit filed against Lifeway, b/c of its false advertising claims. B/c their Kefir is very different from Kefir you drink in Russia or Eastern Europe.
