Lift & Levels: 2015 GMC Sierra Denali, 4.5" BDS Lift w/Fox Shocks

its lazy if you dont. i did the cuts, the frame, calipers, cross members and transfer case. its all exposed youre dump 4-8 k in your truck why leave it untouched?

@@markevans3710 g'day mate, I got the kit from James Hill at American Vehicle Sales, Rowville, Vic. They took ages to get it from the USA during the height of covid. I then had it shipped to Kadina because Victoria was locked down....otherwise I would have gone there and had AVS do the install. The local Adelaide shop that AVS recommend is the Repco Service Centre at Salisbury. Apparently they're pretty good with the big yank tanks. It wasn't convenient for me to use them as it is more than a days work and I had nowhere to stay down there. Instead, I had a local mechanic shop do the job... Ryan Hicks. They usually deal with big vehicles (prime movers etc), so they had the necessary pit and jacks etc to do the job. They'd never done anything like that before, but the instructions that come with the kit are very comprehensive. In theory I could've done the install myself, but lots of heavy gear to move around and with my dicky back and shoulders I wasn't going to try to do it in my gravel driveway!!! hahaha By the way....still love the set-up.

@@markevans3710 yes mate, he has a workshop in Russell Street. He's always busy, so you won't be able to get it done for a few weeks....but then again, you still have to get the kit too, which could take weeks/months.

all gmc 2500's have torsion bars on the front end.

BDS is a very well made company and definitely one of our favorites if it is available for your vehicle. But it all depends on how much lift you want, what you do with your vehicle, what your budget is, etc etc.

The extra work is because the Denali's have "Magna Ride" suspension.......A regular "non Magna Ride" installation wouldn't be as labour intensive :)

@@SuperMetallllica Magn ride is only on the 1500. 2500s and up use regular shocks in all four corners. The extra work is because GM uses IFS in their trucks.

Depending on the vehicle, and which lift setup you go with. But for a 4.5" lift you shouldn't need it. BDS Does a pretty good job of keeping them even front to rear!

Sean Faulk I’m not sure why they didn’t go 22 inch with 35s you can easily fit them with a 1 inch bumper spacer. I’ve seen them on many ticks I’m doing the same on mine and the shop that’s doing it says it can easily work they have done it many times

Only the 1500 has magneride. The truck in the video is a HD

yaquis lSE dude just do any BDS 4wd kit. Your ok, only difference is that you will have a few spare parts, if you don't believe me call BDS them self to confirm. I went that route I have a 2016 Silverado 1500 2wd and installed their 4" BDD lift for 4x4 with no problem

Farm Lyfe you could turn your torsion bars up .5" and shouldn't affect the ride too much.
