You are Awesome for sharing this to others. It was the first thing I did after I got my lift installed. It's my 4th lifted truck so I'm not a rookie...adjust them please 😀. Don't be that guy. If you are getting high beamed and sweared at or worse for no reason you are that guy.
I lifted the front of my 2017 Toyota Tacoma and was blinding others. I had to adjust them and wanted to share how I did it. It's really simple but there's an actual specific adjustment which I have linked the Toyota Tech info here: robdaman.blogspot.com/2019/05/how-to-adjust-headlights-on-your-3rd.html Also if you have a long philips screwdriver you can get it from the top. Unfortunately I didn't have one handy. 😪 I'll talk about what I did for mods once I get things fixed. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Haha. I was like Rob is going to be ratcheting for a while. But you did good man and did link the directions showing the alignment and recommended use of the screwdriver so 👍🏼The side to side adjustments little more of a pain because of its location.
I have a 2019 and added the HIDs. No lift but I am getting flashed once in awhile with people thinking I have my highlights on. Thank you for this easy quick tweak.
Thanks Rob, I just installed LED lights and was wondering if I should lower the beam. Your daughter is precious! Yes they do grow up to quick. Mine is 26 and I miss the days when they were that small!
I wished everybody that lift there trucks watching your video, lots of people don’t care if you get blind from there lights. I know you can make them go up and down but you make them go side to side because I think mine are a little off . I can tell when I drove in the fog one time.
Thanks for watching. What's crazy is I've been blinded by cars that don't have their high beams on. I can never figure how they don't notice that. There's no horizontal adjustment on our trucks as far as I can tell. Do you think both headlights are off or just one? Did you acquire it brand new?
Needed this after installing a 2.5” lift on my ‘21 4runner, i literally get flashed about 5 times going to work in the morning! I’m sorry to all the people i blinded.

Nice video. I have an 08 prerunner android leveled the front less than an 1”. Don’t notice a difference. Do you know if it needs adjustment? Just want to be safe. Thanks.
Come up behind a parked car that's not lowered and see if you light to the cabin. If not you're good to go. If you do light up, adjust accordingly. Only the huge lifted ones will light up cabins that close up.
Cute daughter you have friend, curious on these 3rd gen tacomas does the headlights adjust vertically & horizontally so wouldnt there be two adjustment screws on each headlight to do that? I am going to be getting 3" body lift soon on my 2017 trd offroad & possible later a 3" or 4" on the suspension so its going to have some height to it hopefully the lights will be able to adjust correctly when all done👍
