You need actual skills to play light and literally non for heavy. Glaskanons are always the hardest to play for people without skills. That’s exactly why the majority of player hate on light class. At the end of the day everyone should play what they want. But really the majority of heavy players I came across were absolute garbage.
My man Light is an ambush class, you're not suppose to fight face to face you're suppose to use your abilities and utilities to flank and ambush. This is also backed by the fact that lights weapon options are all relatively slow on fire rate but chunk the shit out of health bars. So if you catch someone by surprise and actually hit your targets light can fuck shit up bad. They also got the long range sniper that fucks hard but honestly I've yet to see a single sniper who's supporting their team other then getting a fat elimination score.
I wouldn't at all say fire rate is slow. Light class tends to have the highest burst damage, medium slightly less and more sustain, and heavy is all sustain (other than rpg and of course nuking someone)
Also the game is only partially about getting kills. Especially as light. You harass, get people out of position, steal objectives and disappear. For this guy to act like damage is the only thing that matters is kinda wild
Lights are not that bad, is just a PRO class, most people just picks lights and go kamikaze face to face thats why they suck... but if you play it right its quite OP
I’m having a lot of fun and clapping a lot of cheeks with the sniper. It works really well in the competitive game modes with no regen because softening them up is permanent. Headshot a heavy or medium and they’ll be all too easy to finish. One shotting other lights is also incredibly satisfying.
I played when season 1 started, max'd the battle pass and just quit solely because of the light class. I started playing again 3 days ago and, my god, just delete that class altogether. It's sole reason I don't want to play this game anymore. Their advantages are just ridiculous. Even if they removed cloaking altogether it still wouldn't be enough.
From my experience, the grappling hook is so underrated. When you master the kind of movement it provides, you unlock so much more potential in other weapons than just sawed off and xp54. Swinging around like friggin spider man throwing grenades all around with whatever weapon suits you is peak finals gameplay imo. Tbh I don't think any weapon in the game is worthless, it really just comes down to what kind of way you feel is the most fun way to kill dudes

Even then. Now you have to win a gun fight against a heavy with more than double the hp you have and now you can't two shot with a shotgun or stun for 10 years
He just sucks at the game. Light is a "glass Canon". High dps, low health. But if you keep moving, both the invisibility and the grappling hook make you untouchable
Have fun shooting the light with a heavy when it dashes all over the place can go invisible and shoots you with the stun gun and your left to rely on bloom to do any damage
if you think light is bad you suck at movement, I main medium but lights fuck me up every game with either sniping that im not looking out for or movement

Catch me with my sniper and hook. Protecting cashiouts from the distance. 😅 Can't tell you how many times I soloed the cash out with Glitch Grenades, gas, and head shots. Yes, we do have to work for it.
Light is a hit-and-run class. Get in and soften a target for your medium/heavy to finish off. The medium’s AK can’t usually take down a heavy with one mag alone so that extra damage is a must for winning team battles
You don’t even need to soften them up, many of Light's weapons can shred Heavies with seconds in 1 mag. Under the right circumstances you can get in, flank them and get out asap
The M11 is like 2x better than the XP… they both put out the same amount of damage except the M11 has a faster rate of fire and it’s reload time is next to nothing. Sure you get more accuracy from the XP but considering most smg engagements are cqc I’d take a faster rate of fire over accuracy.
A really good light with the rifle absolutely can dominate everyone. I play light with rifle, goo grenade, glitch grenade, and gas mine. With grapple hook. And I can secure 10 - 14 kills in a decent match. Here is how it goes Light, 1 shot head kill, 2 shot body kill Medium, 2 shot head kill, 3 shot body kill Heavy, 2 shot head kill, 4 shot body
You are referring to close combat but Light can also snipe from far away. You can also be invisible and surprise the enemy with shotgun or the sable. Light can be strong if properly set and played. The other thing is, every class will enhance its value if combined with a well coordinated team
Long range is important. That being said, I think the point he’s making is that light is so much harder to play well with compared to medium or heavy, which is also true

Idk man ive had matches where i was sniping and went 20+ kills keeping them off the obj, same woth the throwing knives, 20+ games. Its a quick, evasive and fast killing class. I like it because its high risk high reward.

absolutely "Light is the worst class because you need to work harder to get kills". Like dude, kills are important but not the top priority. I've lost games where we all had the most kills just due to bad timing and game sense (no one pushed together for some fucking reason). I don't feel satisfied by my 12 Heavy kills because its fucking easy. I'm bad at Medium mostly because I don't enjoy it, but the Utility is very helpful for your teammates. "Light is just kinda there" yeah, if you can't aim, don't have your movement down, and have bad placement.
Lol my man hasnt tried every way to use light. Due to the speed of light you can get tonthe object before anyone else plus invisibility you can stay hidden for the entire match and steal points from players. The mp5 and throwing knives and knife are the best weapons for him, dealing the most damage the fastest, unless you can snipe really well in that case the sniper is the best weapon. I've destroyed heavys before using just light. The issue is that heavy and medium kinda have one gameplay style with and most if their weapons are the same so leveling up medium or heavy isn't necessary. With light you need to unluck the invisibility, the thermal vision, smoke bombs, invisibility grenade and the mp5 or another better gun. Using invisibility makes it easy to stay hidden from players, smoke lets you cover a point so other players dont see you, thermal lets you see players wether in smoke or from a far when trying to deliver points without being caught. It can also be useful during close combat paired with the invisibility letting you see them clearer and land better shots. And the invisibility bomb just lets you stay hidden slightly longer
I usually use the light class as a good way to move the cash box, not really for fighting. Mainly if you are focusing on combat, the melee weapons are insanely good. Btw that DMR is litterally a semi-auto rifle taken from the medium class do not talk shit about it
Idk I do a agree too an extent but I think that light really can bring so much utility and scouting ability if used correctly. Thermal is extremely good for almost all scenarios in a match whether you are pushing/defending a cash out or transporting vault. Lights need to utilise things like this too create easy picks or create openings, if you are running light you need to let other teams start fighting first too really get value. I think light is not good but also not bad it really hasn’t found it’s identity because of the oppressive abilities of other classes ie being 1 shot by 4 different heavy weapons/abilities. I don’t think light is weak I think other classes need to be tuned down a bit.
He never said it cant, he said to bring that utlity it takes way more skill and try harding, which I think just making more med and heavy stuff take skill would counterbalance it. Or maybe nerfing invis for a small hp buff on light to make more stuff viable on light without making invis the most broken thing in the game.
@@shawngorski9714 I agree on Invis needing a nerf, but not sure how I'd want it done. If I were more visible, I might just exchange it for Evasive Dash. If the time were lower though, I'd be fine with that. I mostly use grapple hook, but Invis can be sorta cheese... The fucking stun gun though, god I fucking hate Light Stun Gun players.
@@XueYlva yea the stun gun sucks and that is the problem with invis, the game was really fun but theres to many abilities like invis, and theres to many explosives, like getting entire teams of nade launcher, Mine and rpg users is the most frustrating thing I've experienced inna game, you just sorta die over an over again as a light player vs that stuff so I dropped the game.

The light class is fun because of movement and the challenge against medium and heavy players. The mp5 is fun, the pistol is insane if you hit your shots and even the sword is good as well as long as you have the cloaking ability. Movement with the light class can outplay any class as long as you understand how to use it. Overall people can say its bad, but I will always think its a fun class
I really dont agree at all, to be able to go invisible with no cooldown and have so much movement and damage you are able to assassin people everywhere and be able to get away with it. Plus the gadgets really stop the enemies in their tracks. Invisible with no cooldown and very high damage, does that sound bad to you? You can kill lightS and mediums very easy from the right angle.
i think you are so wrong... yes it's weak (as it suppose to) but every other thing it's so good.... so if you don't sit taking too much hit you can be really good with that and every gun and gadget is really good
in every game like this the "assassin" class is the objective worst class and for good reason. They should never be good state because if they are ever in a good state noone else will have fun. medium and heavy get to be so powerful because the way they impact the game doesnt ruin the experience of it at all, while light does. its the same reason spy from tf2 is kept weak on purpose.
Light is the most fun way to play the finals, insane movement focused class is really fun and theres a bunch on way to play it, if this is what u rly think u just not doing it right
I am sry but meta light is dash with usp or invisible with sword or shotgun but not this xp its shit. I am streamer as u and i am light mainer😂 And stun gun is very useful especially to tazz someone who is trying to steel u cashout. Because he instantly will stop doing this. And meta gadgets is vanishing bomb with dash and tazer with breach charge. If its invisible its tazzer, breach charge and night vision. (P.s Just my thoughts)

Light is made for people who have fast reflex and aim bro. I know it sucks at playing face to face but doing objectives and ganking light is always the best choice.
You're just not playing Light correctly if you're not using Glitch Grenades (or a massive sleeper pick: Invis Grenades) for team support. You can chuck a glitch across the damn map and snipe, or underhand it off a roof to disable a 3 stack, then 1 shot their mediums to prevent revives. Glitch grenades prevent domes, mesh shields, beam, invis, it's the ultimate counter. But like everything, you need to land your shots. If you don't like how low your health pool is, and suck at fast assassin gameplay: Chuck glitches from distance and use Light's marksman options like the DMR or sniper.
It honestly depends what your more experienced on at the end of the day. Some people like the fast paced light experience which there used too from maybe other games they’ve played. It all depends on the players preference at the end of the day.
It's not reared as a good class by some because it's naturally good at ez killing its the skill that can be visually seen behind it that makes it soooo worth it
Light is an opportunist hunter, they have the dial of finishing fight. And honestly the LH1 rifle feels bomb right now, it is fair they have barely any hp but a good light evades firefights all together and waits for the right moment
Ok Imma be honest i haven't played this game all to much but i have gotten some hours in and here's what I got: 1) buddy why you shitting on the dude with the grapple hook it's humanity's second greatest invention after the Internet 2) Evasive dash is really good for getting away and letting your team respawn, and if used right, can absolutely obliterate someone's camera 3) Gas is just amazing for holding cash and can help you get tons of free damage 4) The pistol, M11(in close quarters), and the sniper are way better than the shotgun, which doesn't have a ton of dps, and the xp, which doesn't have a good fire rate 5) idk why you didn't talk about the vanishing bomb. The fact that you can turn your entire team invisible and then absolutely scare the living crap out of a team holding punt is just really funny and useful. But yeah i feel like there is more one could say, like how your not supposed to charge in headfirst but instead flank, but IDK if haven't played too much yet

I agree, Im playing both light and heavy and I have to use all movement to survive the fight. The only thing why I like light is because of the highlights and entertaining to watch streaming but yes this is insane. Heavy is OP
Hot take: you're playing light class wrong, let me explain. Playing as a light class, you shouldn't focus on getting kills. Let your teammates do that. Focus on being a little shit by doing bursts of damage enough to take the enemy players attention away from the objective to focus on killing you, and let your team pick up the kills. By playing light class like this, it makes the sniper an S+ tier weapon. If you don't believe me, give this a try instead of focusing on getting those kills as fast as possible
Movement over fire power? Ngl I feel like light is actually the 2nd best class because of the movement. Pair the sawed off with the invisibility and you got yourself the best load out.
As a light although it is more hard to secure kills I serve as a sneakier player easier to flank people and I’m still able to carry my team by miles. I’m able to wipe out teams by flanking and catching them by surprise. I don’t think light is meant to fight head on but more as support
Bro has no idea about the LH1 that double sucks the VS9 is better the the XP54 imo and LH1 is my #1 Light gun … i think its just a skill issue for you because I only run Light and medium and well …. heavy is just …. Well TOO heavy And Too slow Light is a Ambush Class ….skirt and shoot light can’t even take a heavy unless his back is turned or the heavy just flat has a skill issue
Im literally getting obliterated by lights whenever i fight them as a heavy because they catch me a milisecond early and my entire healthnar gets deleted. Whenever I see a light I know they are either going to be the easiest kills of my life or they're going to ROLL my entire team. I played against a team of 3 lights last night and they dominated the lobby. I don't think anyone else had a lick of fun that game. Also stun gun is a free kill on ANYONE using a melee weapon. It feels AWFUL to play against.
That is not a good class for you. I do pretty well with like and you have to be very tactical with like in I supposed to just run up on the enemy just because you want to kill.
