Gavin delivers some of the most helpful & practical lighting tips I've ever seen - he really has a way of simplifying and explaining things clearly, and it's never overwhelming. Very thankful for his content here.
I really enjoyed this video. The clothing was great with the wig. I always enjoy your videos and get ideas from you for shoots that I can do myself. Thank you so much for shearing!
Dear Gavin, thank you for the information as well as for the good mood! Special thanks for the wonderful music of Ian Post. Stanislav from Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

Without Gavin helpful video I won’t dear to have an home based photo studio. Thank you Gavin. If you ever comes to Boston Massachusetts please inbox me.
Great video as always Gavin. Just a question, is that an iPad or an android pad that you’re tethered too? And if so do you have any videos showing how to do that? Thanks
I love Gavin for indoor portrait and I love Pye for outdoor portrait. These guys are just wonderful teachers. Thanks Adorama for these guys, please keep them in your awesome tutorials

Thank you for your videos I subscribe but I have saw almost all your videos , you always teach everything I think you are the best photographer in all the world I have saw already at the best but I think you are way far better than the best , thank you for your tutorial and for not holding information like the other do , you are great you and you wife make a good team
Great video Gavin would have liked to see the model also with candle light. Thought her make up looked a bit too modern to go with the dress and fancy loosing ones over skirt! Was nice to chat with you about gear last Sunday afternoon at the photography show at the NEC too 😍
Even the music choice was an inspired element for this shoot. Wow! It had it all: Chandelier, dual-rug wall, bee-hive wig, period wardrobe, and magnificent make-up. You are a magician in a 6' (2 M) space! Then... the inevitable Hoey Smoke Master Machine. No criticism here as I know you love that machine and it is always fun seeing you find ways to include it. Fireplace smoke in Louis XVI's palace, right? Really appreciated the lighting tips you offered in this great video and the gel was a touch of your photo genius. Thank you for making and sharing this shoot. I'm beginning to think your prop closet is larger than your studio!
Thanks for the really kind comments. As for my props wardrobe, when I moved house the removal guys had some interesting comments as they moved everything from ball gowns to gas masks 😉
