Thanks for sharing the interview, I would also have a hard time leaving without getting something 😁 I've had the Daylight Techne (the second desk lamp from the left) for a couple of years and I love it! Works really nicely for overhead videos too, even though the light distribution may not be as even as with the Daylight Duo. Duo looked a bit flimsy to me, so I chose Techne hoping it would be more durable. Techne comes with an easel clamp so I can move it there when I need it. Ideally I'd like to get another one to keep on the easel all the time :) The new portable easel lamp also looks robust. I don't need a portable option, so I'm more concerned with performance and longevity.
I love Daylight Co. lamps! Thanks for this! The only issue I'ver ever had with them (more of a me issue, haha) is that the lamps themselves are a gorgeous clean white... and I seem to always somehow splatter them with paint or hit them with my brushes, so mine end up super stained 😆
also they have plenty of accessibly priced smaller lamps that really pack a punch for their size! Plenty of entry points for anyone wanting one of their lamps!
