I used to get blue light therapy at my dermatologist to help treat my teenage acne & it worked well! She would drain the pimple(s) and then treat it with the light therapy.

I’ve never seen anyone give any practical suggestions. It’s either reduce your stress or take a suppressive dose. I didn’t know about red light therapy helping before this video specifically for herpes so I will have to look into this
Lysine supplement. It lower your Arginine . Both are important but they constantly fight one another. You always want to have more Lysine in your blood. The virus grows with higher Arginine level. Arginine is found in seed and nuts. I take extra dosis of Lysine when I eat peanut butter or whenever I feel tired to prevent a sore. (Im vegan so trust me, Lysine is part of my daily habits lol) Gave that advice to a lot of friends, always had very positive feedback :)

I have a red/nir light panel and a mask (for travel) and its made a huge difference in my sensitive, rosacea-prone, 58 year old skin. I actually bought the light panel to help with chronic back pain when studies were showing it aided in pain relief (which it did for me). The skin effects have just been a bonus, one I'm grateful for.

Please do a video on skincare routine for a week … as in AM routine from M-S and a PM routine from M-S. Example : Monday- exfoliate with an sa cleaner.. etc morning and finish with a retinol Tuesday : just cleanser etc AM and SA cleanser etc. night .. etc

I have the red light therapy wand and I used it a couple of times on my canker sore. It didn't work immediately but it healed fast in 1-2 days. Maybe it would have healed quicker if I treated it longer but I only did 1 treatment (1 minute) a day out of fear. My mom's tongue was hurting a lot from a canker sore caused by chemo and I told her if she wanted me to try the red light wand on her. Coincidentally she felt better the next day. Is it all a coincidence? Wait a min, are we supposed to put it against the skin (as in touching it)? I believe my manual said within 1cm. It would have been easier for me if I just rest it against my skin. I have to wear sunglasses or close my eyes since it's too bright for the eyes. I haven't tested it on acne. I am curious to try that now but it might blind me.
I used to have one of those light masks. It seemed to help my oiliness. The only problem was the company wanted you to buy a cartridge every month. People posted hacks on RU-vid but the manufacturer started changing the design to discourage the hack.
Actually for most people red light panels (including smaller ones) are way more practical than masks because you can use them on any body area, including your face with your mouth open close to the panel to get your lips and mouth area (if cold and canker sores are the concern). They are also more powerful and often have more wavelengths of IR and NIR.

Neutrogena had one of these in the past i still have it after about 3 4 year price was about 20$ don't know why they've discontinue making it , but it worked if you repeat it several time it can also burn your skin
What was annoying about that one was that you’d have to buy a new remote for it like every 20 uses. So, they were making all their money from repeat remote purchases. It felt so scammy, so I never bought a replacement remote when the uses ran out on my original one and consequently never used it for long enough to see results. I’m fine with paying more for a rechargeable LED mask that will at least last 3 months to give it enough time to show results, but will hopefully last a year or two

Please answer this question if you can, I am having surgery and your scar video said that I should just use normal soap and water to clean it. So I tried to find fragrance free soap, and I found Cetaphil Restoraderm but it says it’s a non-soap cleanser. Would that work to gently clean the wounds? Thank you so much. 🙏🏻
Try a course of blue light therapy, getting it done professionally is best but there are also good home devices such as the omnilux clear mask. It penetrates deep into the skin layers to kill bacteria.
@@starlightbarking9495 blue light is not penetrating deep in the skin at all, just the surface only the strong red light has the properties to penetrate the skin layers, the closer it is, the deeper it can penetrate
I bought a lamp with the right wavelength of blue light (looked it up in a study in google scholar 😂) and I started using the lamp for acne. I used it on my whole face and I must say it worked after a couple weeks but it was such a nuisance to set it up, cover your eyes and sensitive areas without covering anything else, etc. I ended stopping it but I must say it does work. FYI I did this 15 years ago

I have a current body flex device. Like a mask that I lie under. It has red, near red and blue. I add the blue when I have a breakout and it does seem to heal the spit faster.
