In this video tutorial, you will learn how to create a notebook cover using Lightburn software. This is a quick and easy laser design suitable for beginners and can be created for any size notebook. We cut the notebook covers using our xTool D1.

**SETTINGS USED**
NOTE: Personally I wouldn't use the settings below for the CUT portion as I had to do two passes with those settings and it created slight burnt edges.
- xTool D1 10w Laser Engraving and Cutting Machine
- 1.5mm basswood
- cutting (mm/sec) - 100power/9speed - 2 passes (see note above)
- engraving (mm/sec) - 40power/60speed

Just finished watching the denim video, went to your channel and saw this one. Ironically I just purchased a notebook at the Dollar Tree with a plain cover. I was going to lay the entire book on the laser bed with the cover facing up and cut out my design (for granddaughter) and glue a contrasting color underneath it. I like this method too and will give it a try. Your two videos just earned you a new subscriber! Good job. I'm a 70 year old, newbie from central Kentucky with my first laser. NOW I'm going to have to binge the rest of your videos. Great presentation, concise and precise. Thanks. Edit - I just saw I'm subscriber # 100! Congratulations.

I think I figured it out the people that's in America that's making tutorials are only concerned about making money you have to go to different countries and watch their tutorials because they're more willing to help it's not about the money thank you and I appreciate it
