Was really confusing in that it information at a few spots the names were inverted and it appeared they you were working in balsa and somehow ended up with adamantium and then back in balsa but not sure why. However, once I get my laser printer and lightburn it may all make sense and less confusing. I thought I was fairly computer savy, but maybe it was the way it was presented.
HI! I'm sorry to bother you! Please help me because I am completely confused! I have a Two Trees 55 laser that I tuned up with a 10 W laser head, only the head, the frame remains! It worked very well for a long time, it was a pleasure to work with it! Then I bought a camera, which I managed to install, but the next day when I turned it on, the camera didn't work anymore! Then I don't know what I did, I reached into the settings and stopped everything in such a way that I can't restore anything! We are talking about Lightburn, of course! Now, when the machine goes home, the limit switch does not stop it, even though $21=1, $22=1, $23=0 are set! The machine doesn't start from where I want it to, etc.! Nothing is as it should be! Maybe you could send me the correct $$ settings? I've watched tons of videos and still can't find the right way! The funny thing is that when I was a complete beginner I stood up for myself! No matter how much I reinstall Lightburn, then the machine, the wrong settings come back! Thanks!
I enjoy watching your video. I must admit that if this is for beginners, then I am a pre-beginner. Totally new to laser and totally new to this type of software. I purchased a materials library for xtool d1 and downloaded it into the library area (which was totally empty before). Under the library tab the only button that is NOT grayed out is the "create new from layer" button. At this point creating my own settings in the library is a little out of my reach. Do you have a beginner"s video that shows how you select a setting from the library and put into your laser project. I have run a few projects on lightburn, but I just can't figure out how to implement a library setting in the production side of lighburn (laser side) Perhaps I have just watched too many different videos and am a bit overwhelmed.
Can you change the location of where Lightburn is looking for the libraries? I had to change my hard drive and now the new location is in a different drive letter and Lightburn gives error of cannot find library?
The list of materials I use are specific to the laser cutter, The Emblaser 2 and Core, that I use. You could add this library, but you would not get the same results. If you would like to build your own library of laser materials, you can test materials you want to use, and add them into your library! So confusing! You are assuming a lot and if your intention is to aid experts, you may be doing an awesome job. But for those who are just trying to figure this out, you lost us.... all of us.
So this video should have begun with "you will have to download a library of materials before you can use this video and here's how to download the files you need......" 🙄
Hi Marcus, I hear you and I put a lot of time and effort into making these videos so you can imagine how I might feel when I get feedback that the videos are out of sync. :( I have never been able to reproduce that error, and have spoken to RU-vid about the issue, and they have told me it might have something to do with drivers on the playback computer. I found a link of others having this issue. I'm sorry to hear that RU-vid is not dealing with the issue. If there was anything I could do at my end (the video audio is in sync on the master file, and when I play it back on a number of other computers) I would put that in place immediately! forums.tomshardware.com/threads/youtube-videos-audio-out-of-sync.3035163/
… intersecting! I just watched via the RU-vid app on my iPhone, and no lip sync issues. Via my PS5, no issues. Back to my MacBook, lip sync issues on both chrome and safari browsers. So there’s an issue between RU-vid and my MacBook, but only on your video. I have never come across this before… intriguing!
