Uhh.. People with black/dark brown hair... Would end up with orange hair post first bleaching session.. So toning doesn't help there (when your hair is orange). This is with regards to bleaching your hair at home. This is something I've learned from hairstylists. Toners usually only work on level 9-10 blonde hair to make it look warm or ashy.
