[Lighter and Princess 点燃我，温暖你] Zhu Yun's university life just began, but it was disrupted by the arrival of the bad boy, Li Xun, who overturned her world. Li Xun, who appears like a rebellious good-for-nothing, is actually a programming genius. However, the two of them gradually learn to appreciate each other's talent and knowledge after a few interactions. When senior Fang Zhi Jing tries to pick on Zhu Yun, Li Xun defends her and even invited her to join her programming team. Together, they won the championship of the programming competition. Who else also noticed that Li xun has changed alot ?? It looks as if he has now found meaning in life after meeting zhun yun, he now smiles alot, he is no longer rude to people, and he now even sees Gao as a friend and wants the best for him. As he once said " I meet the wrong person in my life, and my life changed for the worst " I think it should be " I meet the right person in my life and my life changed for the better ".

My heart aches for Zhu Yun. It feels so helpless when your parents doesn't want to believe in you and force their opinions on you. It feels as if you're not living your life but was born to fulfill their dreams. I understand her parents pov as well but her mother was too much into protecting her that she forgot that zhu yun needs to go out in the world and see what is right and wrong from her perspective as well.

She wasn't exactly vulnerable but she realized that she has no power over her choice when she met Li Xun. Before that, she was contended with her life and was like a lost sheep.

18:50 the way he is feeling sorry even when he didn't do anything wrong and is under fire just because some jealous people can not bear his talent. What else this man has in his life except from talent and hardwork he puts in his work but still people are not letting him thrive and we know where he is gonna end up it just break my heart. Oh my gosh. I've never seen an actor who can express so many emotions with his beautiful eyes. The way he seemed to hold back tears looking at his sister just broke my heart. And he expresses love and anger and every emotion with just his eyes. I mean he is amazing!

To be honest, I have already finished watching it..But still came here again just to rewatch the masterpiece..After Falling Into Your Smile, this is the only one that made me so addictive..Their chemistry is beyond anything..Their chemistry seems so real..The way they look into each other's eyes, laugh, tease and I specially follow and observe LiXun's little gestures a lot..Like he often touches her face, head, hands so normally that it seems so natural..I really really hope to see them again in another drama..

Gao clearly shows now how weak he is. He wants Li Xun to apologize for something he didn't do wrong ,plus he said Li Xun owes him. They don't owe each anything more than for the time they spend together in trials is honesty , respect , their own dignity with loyalty to each other. Far as I see it Gao wants the easy way out. There is no easy way.

also, gao had the video recording himself as proof. however, back then and now as his true colors show. gao wanted to prove that they could get the first place prize, but that li xun wouldn’t be able to prevent fang zhijing from receiving the super prize which is why gao deleted it. he holds all this animosity in his heart that has built up. i did feel bad for gao in certain situations and could understand his frustrations, but it is wrong for him to take it out at li xun. you were spot on with gao wanting it the easy way. i think it’s just all the experiences of comparisons just boiled over, but that wasn’t li xun’s fault and gao blatantly disregards their memories and hardships they endured because of his jealously, anger, pride, and ego.

Lol. I understand Gao was feeling bad but he said thanks to him a minute ago. It was him who asked li Xun to help him out and not make any trouble. He cannot see the snake's fault but put all the blame on the friend who helped him by apologizing in front of everyone. In past 3 years Li Xun has changed for better but Gao has changed for worse.

I know you watched this months ago. First timer here and I can soo see through Gao like I my throught are like this. Gao asked for help saying he doesn’t want to talk to the son of a bitch (fang whatever his name is) because it could effect him going abroad. Great now skip a few episodes later and Gao now says he know the conditions that that other person gave our main lead (but wasn’t he not meant to speak to him!) also (fang what’s his name) also said he speaks to Gao why are you on speaking terms? If you guys wanted a middle man? Also our main lead really doesn’t see what’s coming for him. Also Gao such a good manipulator with his words knowing that his one of our main leads weakness.

*This is the first drama which has made me feel single(first time)so much... I also want a relationship like Li Xun & Zhu Yun even if it is for a single day😂. @@Wajihavibes Honestly, I can't choose one. Both have their own charms. In *You are my Glory* both leads were mature when their love story started. Here, ML was insecure of his career and didn't want FL to regret their decision as he was not typical billionaire male leads. He knew she deserved more than what he can offer. But FL wanted only him because she loved him for years and for her he was perfect with so many imperfections. But in *L & P* their love story started in college and I would say they both were immature. However I m not questioning their love. Here, FL struggled too much because of ML but their love won at the last. He committed a crime and wanted revenge. He didn't want her to be with him because she could get hurt again. I would say FL fell first and harder as well. So conclusion is that both of them have so different tropes that I can't choose one. Literally can't choose one.

There's a few things I don't understand about this ep: 1) If li xun revealed the cheating why are they so annoyed about how he did it and how does that mean he violated the competition rules? 2) If Fang zhjing cheated last time why are they letting him compete? 3) At this point why are they banned from the competition for 3 years if it has already been 3 years since the last competition?

1. I think its bc he interrupted the competition and its a whole politeness thing. 2. Corruption. Its explained that Fang had/has connections so that's why he's back like an annoying weed. 3. @@ari4155I don’t think it’s li xuns fault at all. First of all he did nothing wrong but he still apologized publicly and he clearly meant it enough to make it seem belieae. But fang zhing had no intention to let him go with just a public apology since he already had that guy prpepared to disqualify them. He even said IF li xun apologizes to him he’ll “think about it” which clearly shows he just wants to continue to use gao as a weakness to get back at li xun. Gao should be responsible for his own future instead of going around and begging li xun

I don't understand why some people feel sorry for Gao. In life there are always people who are better. There is something called genetic and iq. You have to accept, get inspired and learn from them. That's the only way to improve and better yourself. Instead of doing that he always get jealous of Li Xun and wants to do him harm. That's bad character. It's very hard to read the subtitles when they're white on a pale colour. I've seen heaps of these dramas and there are quite a few who have a narrow black stripe background, this makes it so very much easier to see and not miss any of the dialogue.

Thank you so much Youku for uploading dramas like these! Also, thanks to all those involved in the making of this drama, that turned out to be so amazing! Special thanks to the translators too! This drama is interesting to watch since it has a unique storyline and isn't cringe like some other dramas! All the cast looks handsome and cute! The MCs have a real/natural chemistry too! Hope they'll be the main leads of many dramas! The drama indeed has a meaningful name! As someone commented, out of all the C-dramas I watched till now, I have never seen any eyes as expressive as Chen 's, playing the role of Xun. Love the opening and the ending song! I noticed the lyrics of the opening song, after someone commented that the lyrics are kinda like Xun's thoughts and it's indeed true! In the ending song, one of the lyrics is 'we won't break up', which makes me relieved that they will be back together once again, even though what happened in the first episode. The OSTs has a good tune as well! It's played at the perfect scenes, because of which we get goosebumps! Xun staring/smiling at Yun is everything! As someone commented before, Xun' s confident walk is priceless! Love how she affects him! Hope that after all the hardships he suffered, he'll get a happy ending unlike the first episode. This episode was kinda heartbreaking, also the next episode too. I hate Yun' s parents so much; why can't they understand that it's her life, not their's! Hope she won't be forced to go abroad or leave him! I thought Gao is ok with Xun until I saw the comments, where he didn't have to reveal Xun' s sister 's condition to him. It's so heartbreaking that Xun has to suffer so much even though he was always right! When Fang became angry because of Professor Lin, I thought he might end up killing him too. I wish Fang will get punished severely for all his actions!

Thank goodness my parents aren't like that I'm also a 9th grader IT student & in my old school there wasn't enough resources to study IT & i asked my mom if i could get more into it & now I'm in my country's one of the best school studying^ i always make sure i never regret any of my decision that's why my parents let me take my own decisions also I'm living alone in a city as a 14 y/o I'm pretty proud of myself

I would say that Gao was always like this, a person who would go to great lengths to be in the spotlight, while Li Xun is actually a very caring person, who was hurt too much, and closed his heart to the world to protect himself, as the story goes on, we actually see the true Li Xun, and Gao come out. Li Xun is opening his heart to Zhu Yun, and the world, while Gao is falling deeper, and deeper into jealousy, and despair that he will never be bigger than Li Xun.

I've never hated a character in a show before. But from now on, I do. The role of Fang Zhijing is played by a good actor who effortlessly shows that Fang is a bad person. But the character, that makes my stomach cramp. When he's on screen, I turn off the sound. Fortunately, the interaction between Zhu Yun and Li Xun was great again.

Gao was petty, vindictive, jealous of Li Xun, and had a huge inferiority complex. Li Xun had said he considered Gao a friend and he had agreed that Gao must stand and shine on his own someday. Gao wanted him to prove that this was not idle talk, now that he had a real opportunity to do so, abroad. That proof could also mend the grievance from the two times Li Xun already had chosen to help Zhu Yun at the expense of Gao, using his work as if he was sole owner. Gao felt that his efforts entitled him to at least part ownership of the app and the prize and was desperate that Li Xun could make light of that, and compromise Gao's future. Some spoilers ahead for those who have not reached end of episode 20. Gao had registered alone for the first computing contest, accepting to add Zhu Yun to his team ; she had somewhat strong-armed Li Xun in too, in the hope of defeating the despicable Fang Zhijian (because she had a personal grudge against Fang, that Gao was not privy to). Gao was unhappy about that but when he understood that the maneuvers by Fang were going to make him a clear winner since Fang would receive a special prize, he decided it was not worth uncovering the plot. But Zhu Yun was livid that Fang would outshine even the winners. Li Xun could not bear to see his princess so dejected, so he exposed Fang publicly, imperiling Gao and his team's first prize and breaking the rules of the contest. Hhe should have gone to the university elders and complained along regular steps, maybe asking the Party to investigate and rule (but this would involve people who might have been corrupted, and even if they weren't, it would take time and Fang would have his field day unperturbed, making Zhu Yun even more sad). The three from Nanhu U still got the first prize, and Gao had built his future plans on this achievement, but he knew that Fang would try to get back at Li Xun and force him to admit once again that he had broken the rules three years earlier. Fang wanted his slate clean, so Gao begged Li Xun to play along for his sake, even if it meant apologizing to Fang. Otherwise, Gao's future independent career would be ruined. But Li Xun was too proud and did not feel any guilt, so he fell into Fang's trap (Fang had designed the trap so that whichever option Li Xun took : apologizing or staying away, he still would have the old first prize revoked). Gao was motivated by his inferiority complex that had him yearning to not be stuck with Li Xun, from the beginning of the story. Li Xun, on the rooftop, had let Gao hope that he could shine one day by himself, and that Gao could be friends with the mentor he had grudgingly accepted. But Gao smarted from the realization and proof that their friendship would not stand the test if Zhu Yun was involved. So Gao's grievance against Li Xun increased when he saw that Li Xun was not ready to go all out to protect him, all to please Zhu Yun who was not having her future imperiled. So, Gao was asking Li Xun to prove that he was a real friend to him, but Li Xun failed to understand his desperation when Gao begged him to stay well away from Fang this once or do as Fang demanded. In fact, Gao could not see clearly that whichever move they took there would lead to their loss. From then on, his jealousy and grudges against Li Xun would deepen, even if he appeared to stay "a friend". Gao would later crow that he had intentionally pointed Fang to hurt Li Xun through those Li Xun held dearest, and go on full betrayal mode, to get back at Li Xun for what he saw as the unforgivable betrayal of his supposed friend and mentor. This episode explains Gao's behavior in part 2.

Gao thinks everything is about himself. He is so self absorbed that he can't even see that Fang is only using him to get back at Li for exposing him cheating. And again Gao and his big mouth is going to cause trouble. The fact that Gao told Fang about Li sister however inadvertently shows he doesn't think before he speaks. Gao causes problems then blames usually Li for his mistakes. Zhu mother irritates me. She judges Li for one mistake he made in high school which he was punished for and judges him on the few times she met him. She never actually spent anytime getting to know him to try and understand why he cheated so she could help him. She made a snap decision that he was bad and wrote him off as worthless. Her character is the type of educator that thinks only good students are worthy of her time and effort. It's sad that she treats her daughter the same way. She's determined to shape Yun into the person she thinks Yun should be not necessarily the person Yun wants to be. Now that Yun has started thinking for herself her mother sees her as rebellious and will blame Li as being a bad influence. The mother needs to get a grip on reality and let Yun be her own person.
