Good lighting is the best upgrade I made to my shop, second only to building my bench 😅. One thing that I missed in the video: lumen. As in: sufficient light. Usually not a problem if your ceilings are not too high,but it is useful.

For the fan lights, you could add small diffusers over them to cut the glare from them. Nice install, but where did you put the drivers, the website says you need? I use video/photo grade fluorescent fixtures, as local electrical codes require ceiling lights are enclosed/protected with wiring covered. These strips,will make good upgrades to my existing fixtures, and am considering upgrading my fixtures with these strips. I installed conduit electrical outlets along the sides and middle of my shop, to plug the shop light fixtures into, which passes local codes here. This way, I can change and upgrade lighting easily, just plug and play connections. Good luck with your new shop, looking forward to see what you do… Cheers
