Wow, 7 guys, two ladders, and a lot of people standing around looking like they have never done this before. If those are union labor guys then this setup cost you a pretty penny. I hope this was your first time setting this up and that you have since figured it out better. When we do this same setup we do it with two guys and it takes about 10-15 minutes. Mounting lights? Well that does take a bit longer.
Hi thanks for the comments - It was at University, so we were all still learning, taking our time, and finding our way around with tools, health & safety etc. It was purely a learning practice.
Hi - It was a complete kit form, so it was assembled as it came... It was dismantled within a music studio environment, then re-assembled here in a larger Hall area - Educational, Training, and part of a University course.
Hi, Thanks..... To be honest it doesn't take that long to setup, we were all learning as part of our 'Live Music' Course at University, and the truss can ideally be put together by 2 or more people.. just to support the uprights whilst another team member can tighten the fixings etc.
:-D We each had our part to play, holding the uprights, extra support, lifting the overhead truss into place, tightening nuts & bolts etc. But yes, it does look like that
