Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII-Chaos Aeronite (Normal, New Game, Day 7, No EP/DLC)

A lot more preparation is needed, but the concept is much the same.
The strongest enemy in the game is shown here defeated under these conditions:
• Normal, New Game, Day 7-the first day on which Aeronite spawns.
• Inside a Chaos Infusion-50% more HP/Strength/Magic, ailments last half as long, permanent Regen.
• No EP, DLC, or any preorder/demo bonus garbs or equipment used.
• One Wyvern Lance and three Ghostly Blooms purchased, no other weapon or shield purchases made. Flesh Render from Reaver Ω is unfortunately necessary.
Regarding schemata:
• Level Boosting Deprotect and Imperil are necessary to maximize ailment duration.
• Max Level 3 Heavy Slash; this will take quite a bit of farming, most likely via Death Game. It is recommended to farm Gold Malistones from a few Dreadnought fights early on Day 7.
• Defaith is not absolutely necessary to survive Hellflare if you have 10,500+ HP on Quiet Guardian. If this is the case, replace it on Miqo'te Dress with anything carrying stat-boosting auto-abilities, or perhaps something with Lightning-Attribute Attacks +10%.
Regarding item usage:
• The Veil Potion is a safety measure against Pain, which lasts significantly longer within a Chaos Infusion. It's not necessary, but if you get hit with it anytime starting late second stagger, you'll have to delay the final stagger, which risks a second Hellflare, or else you'll be wasting precious time in the damage phase.
• During the final stagger, throw out your all buffing potions during Thundaga or Aeroga, or maybe Ruinga. The timing of the Hero's Potion is also important. Ideally, you want to deplete your ATB rapidly so you can use the Hero's Potion and maximize damage before the stagger effects run out.
