There is no danger from a lightning strike. The aircraft is designed for it

Wow, that's the first time I have seen lightning hitting the plane from so near. It's cool, but also quite dangerous; the plane had been climbing for only a few minutes when it hit. For a 10-hour flight, a meal and a snack were not enough. That legroom didn't look so comfortable even on a 5-hour flight

Did lightning cause any damage
