Great to see Francis still around. I was part of the ACCU committee in the 90s for a brief period, and he was a force of nature in the community.

So, basically I tried to put a link to an NPR article about this tech and a comment about it, and it was promptly blipped out of existence. I assume RU-vid considers NPR to be some sort of click farm or something. It matches with my perception these algorithms keep getting more stupid, the more Google execs get more greedy. I don't know why RU-vid even bothers with having comments anymore. They should just admit they'd rather be a new form of Plain Old TV and remove the "feature."
