Stoked Rhyan! It's for sure one of those programs that looks crazy when you first open it up. But starting with the simple stuff and building up from there makes it much more manageable👍
Thanks Ryan! For sure many tools in Lightroom that are essentially doing the same thing, just in different ways. You can drive in a nail with a hammer or the back of a wrench. Sort of the same thing in Lightroom with a lot of tools overlapping tasks. Just depends on how you like to get the job done!
I've got a Pixelbook Go Chromebook with Lightroom on it. Tried using it for the first time yesterday to edit some of our wedding pictures from last month and had no clue what I was doing... It's the free version, so it didn't have all these tools, but I still felt overwhelmed. This helped. Lol thanks!
So stoked that this helped Justin! Like I said, just get in there and start pulling on sliders. It's the best way to figure out what each thing is doing to your image and ultimately get to where you want to go👍
Recently subscribed to Epidemic sound, I love it! Great Lightroom tips, all software seems overwhelming in the beginning, but the more you use them and practice, the easier they get 😉
Great question Cesar! I think a great starting point is the Photographer's plan, which is $9.99/month and gives you access to Lightroom and Photoshop. Super impressive deal for those two!
Nice to see that you only got three presets of your own, because I only got two own presets by myself and don't know why I should get more. It's my style that I like and I edit alle picture with them, just with some small adjustments if necessary.
Thanks for the tips... Hey, quick question... How's the sleeping going? LoL.... 2nd baby was quite an adjustment for us, just wondering how it's working out for your family.
It's actually going pretty well! She slept seven hours last night! Morgan got up a couple times to put her binky in, but other than that, slept really well! She's normally pulling about 5-6 hours at night right now though. Which I'll totally take!
They have a few different setups, but I'm on the $50 per month option that gives me access to all of Adobe's programs. I'm obviously using Premiere and Adobe Audition quite a bit as well👍
Hi David. Thanks for the great video and you have a new subscriber in me. I have been using LR for a long time but it is amazing how many features I miss by just doing the same old things every time without checking out videos like yours! Had a question about Lens Correction. I have noticed that some of my lenses don't show up on the LR list and are not detected by the program. I shoot with a Nikon D7500 and have a variety of lenses from Nikon, Tamron, and Sigma. Any way to update the list? I cannot find a way. Thanks!
heyy, i'm having a little problem with raw photos, when I open then in camera raw they look different that they did in the camera, does someone know what this could be?
Absolutely SKTT! What's probably happening is that you have a camera profile setup in the camera. Any sort of profile that you setup in camera won't be saved to the RAW format. So you might pull your raw file into camera raw and notice that it has less contrast and less saturation. Easy to adjust in camera raw👍
How do you have such a big house in San Diego? Do you have multiple streams of income? Not a hater I think you're nice but just curious...San Diego is expensive and I wouldn't move there even as someone in tech making six figures
Hahah! Well I for sure don't think calling someone's house nice is being a hater. I run a photography business and this RU-vid channel and that's it. We're actually in a townhouse currently, but it's still pretty nice and we're super grateful for it!
@@DavidManningvlog cool. You literally have a picture perfect family. You're both super good looking and in shape. I am getting interested in photography and started following u :)
i noticed your lightroom classic looks different than mine, specifically the tone curve looks very different. what version are you using? my tone curve looks nor acts nothing like the one in the video on LrC.
That background music was so distracting I had to stop watching after 5 minutes. What is it about RU-vidrs that find it necessary to compete with their content by playing distracting and loud music while they talk?
