Just bought an E220, the interior got me, and the economic factors. I mean 60+mpg and 7.3 0-100kph. Pretty good. Oh and the sun roof

Ok first of all this car doesn’t have brake drums, the horsepower is actually low for a car this size and you can’t switch between front wheel and rear wheel drive. It’s a 4MATIC and you can disable the front wheel drive.

So if i want a replica dial layout as on the W124 or 210 or 140 reproduced on this display screen, do they make that possible ? Meaning not only the big dial speedo in the centre (with needle, not digital !) AND 2 smaller dials on its side i.e. quardrant showing fuel level, temp level, oil pressure while the other showing tachometer, just like in the times 20 years ago ! I notice the gauge needle is only 1 colour (red) irrespective what mode is selected ? What if i want that to be amber instead, as standard on W124 etc above series, it seems there's no choice to change that despite the claim of how many thousand colour the ambient lighting they say it can be changed ??

Thanks for the video, so god damn hard to find a video with this black designo leather that i ordered. Seriosly though, as a company owner im litteraly pissed at mercedes, how bad they handel their marketing. Why dont Mercedes (main office) themselves make videos of different interiors and options and put in on youtube? A real video (since the configurator is not accurate enough) of how the different leather options and colors etc looks like? All the differnet colors, in sunlight and in shadow. Pure incompetence, its such small money but helps u get those extra percent sales.

you say that the interior lighting is the true selling point of this car!! how dumb do you think people are? LOL. Its looks very nice ofcourse but you dont buy a car just because it has some disco lights inside the cabin! the new E class has much more to offer and many other high tech features for which the people buy this car.

Oh P...lease...... , it took me 2 weeks to get my ambient lighting off horrible trashy purple, what a total waste of time/technology....MB should have spent more time on sorting out all the things that are wrong with the current E class....for example, the offset steering wheel (mmm we don’t mention that...) ....it may have been designed for left hand drive countries, to make it more comfortable for right handlers but for the rest of the civilised world who dive on the left , having the steering wheel closer to the middle of the car makes driving awkward and uncomfortable, unless you’re left handed and have a cheap chiropractor handy. ....there was no mention of the panoramic sunroof option, Everyone who has one I’ve spoken to, hates them as they are nothing more than heat sinks. If you are tall and live in a warm climate , you need to wear a baseball cap even with the roof & (useless) shade closed, just to keep the heat off your head......and chew up fuel to run the air conditioning flat out to keep the car cool.....

Tanga Toto there are only 34% countries in the world drive on the left. And most of them are undeveloped. In term of road length. Its only 22% roads can be driven on left.

1 - If it took you 2 weeks to change the lighting colour on this vehicle.. you need to sign up for a basic technology class. 2 - most civilised countries drive on the right, good job doing your research Mr. Intellectual! 3 - purple is quite a nice colour, but that’s my personal preference, I suppose I’m trashy for having a personal taste for pronounced colour schemes but at least it only takes me 2 seconds to change the colour unlike some people! lol jokes aside you like to complain about a lot of silly stuff. Oh I’ve also not ever really had a problem with the sun and the roof even on hot days, maybe try adjusting your seat so your chest is at least a few inches from the steering wheel...

Most uncomfortable car seats ever.....very narrow and not much padding. My car is the e - class exclusive 2017. Getting rid of this car big disappointment.
