Glad to hear it's relieving some of your eye strain!!! If the lid part ever gets in the way one day, know that there are lots of alternatives without them. Just gotta put a dust rag over the glass, when not in use. I still have my old timey, chunky beast, with a full bulb on the backside. Haha wonderful option imo if I ever want to change the color of the light. Has come in handy many times!

Hey Ahmed, could I pick your brain? I do art on a tilted art desk, but the magnifying glass starts sliding down because of the gravity…I don’t painting on a flat table …any ideas?

I don't know if this would work for your set up, but I clamp my lamp to the back edge of my drafting table which is parallel to the ground so it won't swivel as much and I also wrap a small strip of paper around the shaft portion of the lamp that inserts into the clamp to make it a tighter fit.

Sometimes I watch you draw and I want to call you a god. But godliness implies you aren't human. Godliness implies I will never reach your skill level one day. I can confidently say you are one of the few artists I can consistently look at and still say "I will be as good as you one day if I keep trying my hardest".

you be good as him dude if you have the strong passion to get better. look at his old sketcks books. dont compare your skill to pro artist cause it will only get you frustrated. just keep on drawing and spend time studying the fundamentals, cause we learn through experience.
