@@chrisbagidney152 I agree with you. Absolutely! The US should cut off Internet and or phone access from IP addresses in countries that do nothing to stop these scammers. Especially countries like Nigeria that encourages as some sort of legitimate national industry. India law enforcement seems powerless to police the chaotic mess that is India's exploding population.

The worst part is that this guy is actually pretty sociable and seems like he'd be amazing with customers, heck maybe even a fantastic salesman who makes you feel happy just to talk to him and buy from him. But dang, he's using his gift to hurt people which is made even worse by the fact that he probably brightens up the days of the people giving them hope for good helpful people and then he blatantly steals from them. Idek that's kind of a lot worse than the just "GIVE ME YOUR PASSCODE" scammers. Maybe someday he'll turn to good and make up for this, and be a fantastic help to people and try to go back and fix the people he wronged and make them whole.

There was a homeless lady that used to come in the Denny’s I worked out in Hollywood when I was much much younger turns out when she died she had a mansion in the hills she just didn’t want to live there she push the grocery basket around every day and came and sat on our bench at Denny’s in side of the counter and drink coffee and fell asleep with a cigarette in her hand

Thought I was talking to the real Microsoft tech support. They sold me " fire wall" protection. What a load of BS! I felt so stupid for falling for this scam. Then I ran across your channel. I did the same, they wanted £199 to fix my pc. I told them I had a friend who would do it for £25, so they destroyed my computer. I just assumed it was Microsoft who also had their call centre in India like my bank, internet service, mobile phones company. So don't feel bad, just make sure your friends and family know about the scam

Don't feel so bad. I have street smarts. but computer illiterate. when i got my first computer 2011 after a couple weeks all these letters popped up, computer froze up said i had to call the ph. # dude with india accent showed me some bogus #'s of all sorts of people trying to hack me. how was i to know seemed legit. yeh they got me take it at as a education only wish they would come to my home and try to scam me ! play stupid ; reel em' in and then end their game scammer be gone.

Recently I called a scammer from Windows Defenders, knowing full well it was a scam. I HATE these scammers who sleep like babies at night after stealing money from people. So I pretended to be really dumb on the computer and kept interrupting the scammer to talk about my "grandchildren". Finally the scammer got aggravated and said "Ma'am I dont want to hear your stories!" It was hard to not bust up laughing. Finally after 27 minutes she hung up on me. If lots of people just did this once in a while, the scammers would have less opportunity to hurt people.

In another one Vivian lives in Sarasota, Florida in a Retirement Home. A few minutes later Vivian starts talking about a wine cellar and a hidden room behind a bookshelf wall. The scammer never caught on. Great work Pierogi.

Elderly gentleman in my local was scammed by fake EE mobile call. He was gutted. Showed him how to access Pierogi, Kitboga and Jim Browning on you tube so he can learn more about the scumbags and realise he's not the only one to fall for it. Hopefully the bank is going to refund him . Somehow they even knew he'd recently lost his wife.

62 yr old grandma here. I love technology and I am navigate my way around tech pretty well. There are SO many hoaxes and scams out there and you are really doing a good thing. My 87 yr old mom has been scared to death by some of these imbeciles. Fortunately we have warned her and warned her about these low life’s so we feel we have done just about all you can do to keep her safe. One thing I haven’t heard you mention is the use of credit cards vs debit cards. I NEVER use a debit card because you are not protected if things go south. When I use my credit card, I can dispute a purchase, I am not held liable for fraud etc etc.

Brilliant videos, I recently discovered Jim browning and yourself, I knew these scammers existed but had no idea how they went about it, bonkers how easy it is to "change" bank balances etc! I had to ring Microsoft and let them remote in last week, Christ I was paranoid I'd rang scammers 👀🤣 keep up the good work, stay safe!

Really glad there is a channel called scammers payback I have been watching your channel and I have found that I have had many off those scammers on the landline here in Britain. But because off your channel I now know what to look for and understand what they are doing. I really do appreciate all the help you give to others and please keep it up the more you catch the more are not scamming. Just a pity the governments and the police forces don’t help you out more when you find them scamming others. You take care and keep up the great work.

I love the way you do this. I heard somewhere that a friend of yours was cleaned out by a hacker and you found out and seemed them out successfully and even got his things returned. I love this.
