Hi friends,
Welcome to my French makeup series! ❤️ In this video I will show you a timeless red lipstick makeup tutorial :) This will be my version of the Parisian makeup look for Holiday 2023. I used my favorite Chanel, Dior and Cle de Peau makeup products. I also use some of my favorite skincare products from ‪@LancomeInternational‬ I also have an affordable red lipstick for those of you who rarely wear red lip makeup. You can try something affordable first to see how you like it :) I wanted to create a simple and elegant classic French makeup tutorial. @@Frenchforaday I agree, I don't like heavy concealer under the eyes, but now I have dark circles at the bottom. How can I get the concealer only where I need it, at the very bottom, where the dark half circle is? I keep trying, but it doesn't stay there only. Merci in advance.

All Lancôme skincare product is great, also works wonderfully on me, LRP works well too..but for breakout I dab it with Bioderma sebium, very potent toner to calm acne instantly..and you look stunning, CT palettes never fail to beautify eyes..thank you, I learn alot from your channel..

This is a beautiful and elegant classic holiday look! 😊 It's definitely time to start thinking about outfits for various holiday events coming up in December. We have at least 5 events to attend so far and these are the times I like to pull out my dresses from the closet! I do like the 'glowing' look. Angela, your videos are great. I really appreciate your words about celebrating natural beauty! I'm 46 and like all of my wrinkles. That's life and I'm not ashamed of it at all. Lighter on the eyeshadow , but I wear Red lips to work on Fridays because our Local American foot ball team’s color is a bright bold red shade! Go Chiefs!!! I now know I NEED that Dior Red 999. I love your approach to make up! It's about enhancing our natural beauty. I looked into the runway looks of Chanel for fall winter 2023/2024 and the models have minimal, very beautiful natural make up looks and look absolutely stunning! Hi Delphine ❤ Thank you so much for watching and I apologize for the delay. The brush that I used in this video comes with the Sisley Phyto-Cernes Eclat eye concealer. I finished the concealer and kept the brush. But another good concealer brush is by BK beauty Angie hot and flashy. Your makeup looks absolutely gorgeous! I watch lots of videos, and I can't stand how the Americans usually look - so much makeup and so many products, I want to take a washcloth and wipe it off their faces! I just don't like that look of so many products. I come from a French city, and I miss this kind of makeup, so I'm glad I found you! Your skin is glowing! Hi lovely and thank you so much for watching my video and for the kindest words ❤ The glow comes from exfoliating my skin two to three times a week and good amount of hydration. I used to have oily skin in my 20s and now in my 30s it's more normal and glowy when I moisturize it :) So try adding some exfoliant to your routine like glycolic acid. It's one product that usually adds a lot of glow. But use it only in the evening and wear SPF because it makes the skin more sensitive. I hope you will enjoy my next videos as well. xoxo

I'm a lot older than you and already use Retin A every night so I don't think I can add more to the night time routine, but I've been using high SPF since I was very young. I'm discovering your videos and I have so much to catch up on! I see a year ago you did "Tinted lip balms and high shine lipsticks" - do you think you could do a new version? There have been so many new ones, and also a new one about natural looking lip colours? That's something else I always get wrong. Well no my pigmentation I have are post inflammatory acne and scars bcs I have PCOS. So sometimes some of us need extra coverage. Anyways I do love your message but it is easy to tell when you have good skin. Hi Nathalie, Chanel's lavender baume essentiel is more transparent and it has a balm like texture. It remains balmy on the skin (as if you have applied a thick waxy lip balm). It doesn't feel unpleasant but it leaves a balmy/wet kind of feel on the face. If you have oily skin this might be a problem. Givenchy is a liquid that dries completely on the skin. This is a comparison in terms of feel. In terms of finish: Givenchy is more visible like a highlighter. Chanel is more subtle and natural looking. Both are very nice but it depends on what you are looking for. Chanel can be used on the lips as well. So you can imagine the consistency being very much like a lip balm.
