Like The Movies - Laufey | Jazz Piano

My arrangement of yet another future jazz standard by Laufey! It was pretty difficult to get right and I must have done a hundred takes to get this one (which is still far from perfect)
On another note, I had my piano tuned! However, the technician must have also done something that left my sustain pedal really creaky now, which you can hear in the recording :( I will contact them again and hopefully get it fixed by the next video)

Hey @@belicity! What really helps me in creating these covers (especially the more jazzy ones) is actually the fact that I spent a lot of time in the past learning to play jazz standards. I would highly recommend looking into them as they help you build the harmonic vocab required to play in this style.

thats very true but all of them are quite hard to follow even if im an amateur at piano. i'd say like "how to play ___ in jazz" so that its geared towards a trendy song and you try to tell us your thought process and tips on how to make the specific song jazzy!@@honestkeys
