Likewise Shift Knob Install - Volvo C30 (No Threads!)

In this video I install a likewise shift knob on my Volvo C30. The C30 does not have threads on its shifter rod assembly, and requires and adapter to replace the OEM setup. In this video I discuss the adapter available from likewise, retainer clip, and shift knob being installed together. I would highly recommend using this method if changing out your shift knob on any vehicle without threads, as it provides a much more secure grip and improves the shifting feel greatly.

Wanted to see how this all fitted together and what parts i needed to order from likewise,was worried about ordering something i may not of needed or may not have worked with another part.. literally scrolled through so many videos that barely showed anything of how it all clipped together..thanks for being the only person to do a decent well filmed video!! Finally found a C30. Gotta admit your 5 things you love video was a BIG influence that turned me onto this car. Im very excited. Picking it up tommorow.

Gonna try this for a better fit for my jewel on my sentra SR Turbo because there isnt any threads. Been using an adapter off of amazon for now but I even measured my shifter rod and its like 2.7mm so I'm gonna use a vacuum cap and hope it works out.

I am struggling to take off the knob off of my C30, a lot of videos say push down on the knob and turn left to take it off and I’ve done it but it I cannot take it off, how did you take off your original gear knob? I really want to change my knob, I’m tired of the stock knob.
